Gym SLT Tribeca reviews
10Went here for 2 classes. This is what I felt either take at least 20 classes or don’t take at all to see any improvements, very average and a very very very confusing basic class. Did not feel like I got a good workout from the classes. Also too expensive as opposed to other studios in downtown manhattan. Overall the studio is clean. Music is average.
I’ve taken over 20 classes here with several different instructors. Haven’t had a bad class yet and everyone is so friendly. My obliques are here for it. Katrina is my favorite!
SLT is always an excellent workout with slow, controlled movements. It's helped me develop defined abdominals and has strengthened my hamstrings. My favorite instructors include Katrina Ong (her delivery is in such a soothing tone that you might think the next movement will be easy) and Kelly Cole (Kelly's slow and measured counting helps keep class on track and dampens the urge to move quickly).
Hurts so good! SLT offers a challenging workout. I am seeing results after 8 classes! I highly recommend!
Scheduling privates is a hassle. They take several calls and emails to get back to you. I think their rates are on the higher side even for nyc. I had rani as my “trainer”. She was cold and barely greeted me as a new client. Additionally in our session she was barely correcting me and when I asked her if I was doing things right she would say sort of and offer me no help. I will not be going back and I have never had a worse experience throughout many gyms in Nyc.
After having gone to the Williamsburg studio, I think the Tribeca location for SLT is much larger, and the space and then you feels nicer. The classes are just as tough, depending on which teacher you take. This is one of the tougher workouts for me in New York City, and it’s great at Tony’s and lengthening After having gone to the Williamsburg studio, I think the Tribeca location for SLT is much larger, and the space and venue feels nicer. I struggle to do more than 1 class a week because you get super sore afterwards.
Always a great class. This location has seemed consistently easier (read: easier than a normal class, not easy) than the Williamsburg classes.
Lanae was an awesome instructor! Front desk person was also super friendly and helpful. Love this place!
I can’t tell you how addicted I am to this place. I was always using ClassPass or going to Barry’s, but I have never felt and seen results more than at SLT. They have great instructors, every class is a challenge, and they have so many locations you don’t have an excuse to miss! I tried my first class exactly a month ago and I’ve been to 13 classes since.
I called a spoke to someone about renting and they were rude and disrespectful she sounded like she only had a 3rd grade education.
