Slurp Ramen reviews
17 I've been going here since it has opened and it's amazing. The food comes out quick and is always delicious.
I love the rice bowls and different ramen broths; and they even have a secret menu item or two for us OG customers.
One thing to think about is they have zero gluten free options. Wheather or not it's traditional to offer rice noodles, it would be a great addition to the menu for people who can't eat wheat; because of this, I have to put rice in the broth or just opt for the rice bowl all together when I am fasting from gluten based foods.
The other thing are the prices. Now it's understandable given it's prime location in Port Jeff. I imagine the rent / taxes on the business being high but you get much more food at other ramen places for around the same price or less.
Again, I love this place and it's literally a 4 minute walk from my house. I'll go here as long as they are there, and I hope they open up more locations!
My youngest daughter (20) suggested eating here. Chicken rools were delicious as well as the chicken and rice bowl she picked for us.
Everyone else's food looked so appetizing. Looking forward to returning and trying more from thier menu.
The vegan ramen was decent but nothing to get excited over. The tiny place was so jam-packed it had ideal conditions to be a super-spreader event. It was so loud in there that the person taking our orders could barely hear us, and we could barely hear them. The tiny parking lot next to it is an utter nightmare to get in and out of. Don't say I didn't warn you. Not blown away by this place.
The only place on the east end to get your ramen fix! The bao buns are also super delicious. Been here multiple times throughout the pandemic even though it's a 40min drive for us!
The food here is excellent, and is very accommodating of dietary restrictions. I've been coming here since they opened when I was a teenager and we've always gotten excellent food. One thing that I wish they had was nutritional information on their food, most importantly calorie information
Always a great meal, the slurp spicy (ramen) and chicken Kara-agé bowl are our go to options…the mini bao buns are also delicious
We ordered 2 karage bowls w/ extra chicken for pickup. About 95% of the chicken was raw and we already have eaten a few before noticing the pink skin when my girlfriend went to inspect it further. We were beyond shocked of how almost all the chicken was raw, some didn’t even look cooked! Because of their odd hours, they were already closed and weren’t open the next few days. As for us, the next few days we had stomach issues and when we did have a chance to call, we were shocked that mgmt disregarded our concern and health. They also refused to refund us, stating we were at fault. Please check your chicken from slurp before eating!
Delicious ramen! I got the slurp spicy and my boyfriend got the slurp classic (see pictures). Both dishes were incredible. Service was super friendly and fast. Atmosphere very clean and appealing. Absolutely no complaints and cannot wait to go back!
Slurp has not only become a staple of down port but has become a staple of long island. For my friends and myself Slurp provided our first experience to authentic ramen and I'm proud to say we still frequent Slurp years later. Slurp offers many interesting and unique ramen dishes. Slurp Ramen provides vegan ramen dishes and ramen that could be made vegan upon request. If you have not already tried slurp I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed
Oh my gosh! I just found out about this place & absolutely fell in love! There aren't many ramen spots around the area so this place and much appreciated!
Absolutely fantastic! Mentioned to the waiter that I’m gluten free after ordering and he immediately informed us that I had ordered a gluten dish and personally put together a dish I could eat immediately. Wonderful customer service and we’ll definitely be back!
Perfect spot for a filling meal. All dishes from the cold noodle salad to the various tonkutso soups are delicious. The Classic Tonkutso is our favorite. The pork buns are fluffy pillows full of pork belly with lots of flavor. It's a nice "bite" if you are just looking for a snack.
You can dine outside in picnic sale tables or dine indoors. The staff are friendly and the service is fast.
Amazing ramen with the best pork bowl you will ever have. The pork buns are so soft and so delicious, a must try in the port jeff area.
The rich foods here are my go to comfort food. The beautifully made broths and expertly cooked meats are filled with flavor. I have tried all the ramens and all are wonderful.
Slurps side buns are absolutely succulent, tender meat with just the right amount of sauce and inside of a delicate soft bun.
The staff here are also something to mention, all of them are helpful and have welcomed me each time with a happy face. My food never takes to long to make and is always what I want. I appreciate the food and service here. Slurp is truly a nessisary stop when in Port Jefferson. As a local, I love that this restaurant and I hope all discover this hidden gem.
A lot of ramen places have come and gone in Stony Brook/Port Jeff since I first moved here in 2014, and this is still my favorite place. The broth is so rich, the spicy versions are delicious and just the right amount of heat for those who like it, and the noodles are very fresh. I also love their rice bowls, which are incredibly creamy and savory. I'm not sure if it's super authentic, but it tastes homemade.
Incredible ramen and pork buns. Service is top notch. Reasonably priced. And you can get bubble tea there and also a tea place within 100 feet of slurp. Amazing place. Highly recommended to anyone that likes being happy.
I can’t understand anyone giving Slurp a single star. Their food has remained top shelf all through the shutdown. Not to mention the owners are some of the nicest people in the port Jefferson business district. I’ve tried all the entrees. I haven’t found any of them to be salty or greasy. As far as service not being up to par. I haven’t found that to be the case at all. The young people serving you are mostly People that are fairly new to the work force and using a place like slurp for a starting place. It’s the way all these young kids get a start. Slurp you just keep going just as you are for in the majority of reviews here you are amongst the best port has to offer.
