S'MAC East Village reviews
21I had a good time at S’Mac, people in here are very nice. There’s lots of different types of mac&cheese, and if you can’t decide which one to choose, just order a sampler pan, you’ll have all in one! Special mention to the « parisienne » version, surprisingly good and to the OG version
Deliciousness.you don't need to be a chef to open this type of restaurant, and the owners had no experience with food service.they opened a place with what they enjoyed making at home.macaroni and cheese great comfort food joint.
Really great Gluten Free Vegan mac and cheese! They still accept cash which is great being that they have no cashiers and everything all technologically savvy. Outdoor dinning not sure if they are going to have indoor dinning in the winter. Customer Service was good and the food was fast. Would definitely recommend.
I been going to place for awhile and the Mac and cheese is delicious. I even introduced my friends to it and they love it
Had the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese with bread crumbs. I don't know what has happened to this place but the food quality definitely has fallen off. I use to love this place and I would recommend it to everyone. Sorry but not anymore. Try/eat at your own discretion
Literally the best food in Ktown! Super affordable prices and delicious food! It's the best restaurant to avoid the crazy lines in and get the best pocha experience. I definitely recommend the cheese corn and bulgogi!
We went there for the 1st time, 3 of us, so we got 3 different kinds cajun, garden veggie and pizza, they were ALL very good, I did like the veggie the best, will definitely be back!
I’m giving it two stars because I recall one time over the phone, I asked how much would I have to spend in order to have food delivered and the guy over the phone said “$100” which I KNOW is a lie because that was my first time hearing that, especially after ordering from here many times. Plus, I used to work here years ago and I just know that was never a policy for deliveries. On another note, they put more cheese than actual macaroni in the dishes. All the cheese gets stuck together and I feel like I’m eating a bunch of cheese with little macaroni. Another problem I have is the last time I ordered in person, I specifically asked him to not put TOO MUCH CHEESE. Meaning yes I still want cheese, but not A LOT. My order came back with no cheese on it. Do they even listen?
Cool concept and super easy ordering system. Prices are very decent for NYC as well. We had the All American and the “upper crust” Mac & cheeses. Loved the upper crust one - had Brie, figs, mushrooms, & rosemary.
Some of the best Mac and Cheese in the city, and a very nice staff that will take good care of you. You can even get it uncooked and cold so that you can take it home to cook or freeze!
Had the normal classic and it was so good! And the portion was huge! I had to share with my sister and we both agreed on five stars
Great food, everything is self service. The only thing I would suggest is to have a work at the front area explain the routine.
Perfect pizza for drunk ordering - crisp, hot big slices. This is way better than Papa John's or Domino's but doesn't hold a candle to the big guns in NYC (Emily, Denino's, Scarr's, etc).
The presentation was nice but for the Vegan Mac and cheese it is a hard no for me. They use a cashew milk base and the cheese is literally just sweet sauce. Taste like sweet cashew or oat milk with no salt, garlic flavor, or seasoning. Doesn’t taste like Mac and cheese even though it looks like it. The creaminess is good too but for a real Mac and cheese flavor just go to Champs diner. I gave two stars because I am glad they have a vegan option for us but it was very limited and did not taste good.
I have been coming to this place for years because of their great mac and cheese with solid gluten-free options. Today, however, I received somebody else's delivery order (which was labeled as mine). They also didn't pick up when I called, or responded when I messaged, to ask for a replacement
While I get that mistakes happen, this meant that I got a non-gluten-free meal. I will not go back if they can't be more careful about allergies.
An incredible restaurant that's right near Bryant Park. Perfect spot for a date right after skating at Bryant Park. The Spanish tapas are just amazing from the cheese to the potatoes to the pepper to the garlic shrimp. Just get a mix of everything a d share! You won't be disappointed.
Anytime is always a great time! Fun vibes with friends with food and drinks, always an easy and reliable place in the area.
These incompetent workers messed up my order. When I arrived home to eat my Mac instead of the Buffalo chicken I received broccoli and what looked like mushroom. If you order take out make sure you check the food first before you leave. I’m glad I didn’t tip these @ssholes.
Some aspects may have changed due to covid but the Mac and cheese still taste the same. I had the 4 cheese at the major much size and it was delicious.
A friend recommended. They were spot on. Had the Napoletana Mac & Cheese Mongo. Couldn't wait to get home, the aroma was so good.
