I have ordered 3 outdoor metal signs and ALL have been FANTASTIC! The quality is great IF YOU CHOOSE the right one which is usually a little more expensive, but great quality item. The design team has been FABULOUS! I requested something not listed in motifs, but they nailed it, somehow knowing exactly what I wanted and pictured. I highly recommend this company!

Horrible customer service. We ordered a sign and it had a word spelled wrong. Instead of reaching out to ask about it, the company just sent it like it was. They were basically saying FU to the customer because they knew it contained an error and there was nothing we could do about it, even after contacting them right away. When called again, the customer service was rude and dismissive.

Overall happy with my purchase, they turned a random idea into a great product. But wish the design team was a little more on it, took like 4 proofs before it was as I requested it, they kept just overlooking my design detail requests, but eventually figured it out. Otherwise happy with the product and experience.

In my line of work with computers, the saying is "Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick two. " But with SmartSigns I got all three:)

I placed an order for a full color design on Saturday morning and got the proof back Sunday morning, one round of proofing, and the sign came on Wednesday. The price was very reasonable, the work FANTASTIC (they took my rough artwork and tweaked it to be AMAZING). Customer support is outstanding!

Ordered December 30, said it would ship mid-February. Date came and went so I sent a follow up email and was told the factory had a fire and the new date would be mid-March but they would keep me up to date. Date came and went with no updates, so sent another email was told there was a fire and the new date would be mid-April and they would keep me up to date. Almost verbatim copy/paste response.

Credit cards limit purchase disputes to 90 days and I no longer believe I will ever receive the order. They said they would keep me updated, but are not updating me on the ship date either on the website or via email as promised, so I have chosen to cancel the order within the 90 day window since I fully expect I will likely have to dispute any charges since I do not trust that this company will refund me.

This was such an awful product. I ordered a house number sign along with the recommended hardware. The hardware does NOT fit the sign and when I contacted them, they just said it doesn’t have to. Not only can I not use the sign but I actually don’t want to due to the two large (and according to them useless) big holes.

Beware of this company if you have the slightest problem or even a question after you have paid them!
The sign arrived scratched and bent. I asked SmartSign if the scratches would degrade the sign life and, after several days, received an email from Dequan Spruill asking for 7 pictures of the packaging and sign. They never answered my questions. They just made it clear that they had no interest in the fact that they sent a damaged product. Except for the scratches, the sign looks OK. I was able to straighten the bend so we will put it up. Maybe it will last, maybe it wont. I'm pretty sure Smart Sign doesn't care either way. The sign may be fine. The customer service was bad. We will not buy from them again simply because of poor customer service. Maybe such treatment is OK in New York. It isn't acceptable here in the Midwest.
Update: It took a few days for SmartSign to contact me but, when they did, they asked for a photo of the scratches and immediately put in an order for a replacement sign. The replacement sign arrived and was perfect.
As far as I am concerned, SmartSign redeemed themselves. Once they understood my complaint, they responded quickly and appropriately.

According to customer service, poor quality and mis-alignment of vinyl onto the aluminum sign is perfectly normal. Meanwhile other sign shops say it’s just poor workmanship.

I ordered 4 of these signs approximately 2 weeks ago and somehow the vinyl did not align with the bolt hole or the end of the sign. I brought it to their attention and they re-printed them.

Well guess what? I received the replacement a few days ago with the exact same issue that I had.

When I reached out to them again, they told me that the misalignment was perfectly normal and made it seem like I was over reacting. As if this is the first time I’ve ever had a sign made.

Well, I went to a local Signarama with the sign to have them made correctly and showed them the sign to see if this was normal as the customer service of SmartSign had stated.

They said that this is absolutely not normal, just poor workmanship.

They offered a refund but I have to package all 8 signs, wait for a shipping label and take them to the shipping carrier. And after dealing with this for almost two weeks and wasting a bunch of time with it, I’m over it. I’ll take the loss, never order from SmartSign again and advice everyone to stay away.

Fast, great quality work. The sign I ordered has great color. The colors on the website are true to the signage. Fast shipment, I ordered a custom sign on the 25th of July and it arrived on the 1st of August. No mistakes, I'm impressed with the sign and will continue to do business with this company. Can't get any better than this. I shopped local and was not able to get a sign this quick. I ordered from Smart Sign and it arrived quickly. Shop around and you will find this is a good quality, fast dependable site. Great JOB. Thank you all.

This company is wonderful, my sign was easy to create and was shipped so fast I was stunned. The sign is beautiful, love the UV resistant coating, it looks just like the one I created on the website which is very easy to use. 25 stars!

Wonderful online service at myparkingsign.com. SUPER fast in making and delivering my sign and it looks great (their designers improved my design). Professional quality, looks like a municipal sign from the city sign shop. HIGHLY recommend!
