Smashburger, Bronx NY

Worse service the forgot everthink on burger.they are rude.quite simply they cant serve.

This review is for the food truck.

I purchased the burger, chicken sandwich and fries for about $32.

Both sandwiches were very disappointing.

The burger was tasteless. I could have gotten something more tasty and cheaper at a deli. I’m also not entirely certain the cheese was cheddar. Seemed more like American.

The chicken sandwich was worse. I had hoped it would be a nice fried chicken breast but it was basically thin, overcooked chicken strips. The best part was the pickles.

The fries were ok, but bland and overpriced for what you get.

Update: now that I have looked a photos of other people's smashburger, what I purchased doesn't even look the same. My bun was a sesame seed bun (not potato), the fries were not the same and even the wrapping was different. So I'm not sure if I got conned by some knock-off smashburger truck or something.

Would I try smashburger again: no.

I called to place an order and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes. I got in the car a came to the restaurant and when I told them that I was on hold for over 15 minutes I was told I could order food online with such an attitude, and that they are busy, even though prior to being called over she was just hanging out by the food counter. When I took my receipt visibly upset I was told that if I don’t like it I don’t need to come there anymore.

First Time out Dining of over 2 years bc of COVID. Food was Great! Black Bean Burger was Great! Just too Salty like The Brussel Sprouts which was good just too Salty!

This food was nasty. It was mad greasy and really not that good. It was also expensive cz why am I paying 20 dollars for 2 classic burgers. Highly disappointed. Staff was also laughing like sum was funny

Ordered take out. The person who packed our burgers placed them side ways in the bag! Why would you put burgers side ways so that all the juices can spill out? Everything was wet and greasy & made the burgers soggy. The other thing was we ordered our burgers with a side of sweet potato fries & tater tots. They barely filled the containers for these. The tater tots didn't even fill up halfway (see picture). The food though was decent, thus left 3 stars. Got the limited time Caramelized Onion burger and enjoyed the taste. My husband got the double bacon burger and he was okay with it. Anyone ordering take out, please take a look at what and how they give you your food before stepping out of the restaurant.

Old lettuce.salty chicken—both grilled and fried— for our two sandwiches.my sandwich was messy and the fries were alright.

I was brought here by my boyfriend for first experience ever. And was immediately impressed upon my arrival. Irene stepped in and gave me a history of the location and also the menu items from the Angus Beef, to the haystack onions, all the way down to the Häagen-Dazs made shakes. Michael was our cashier and he backed everything that Irene spoke of. Irene threw in some Brussels sprouts for me to try and I have to admit, I LOVE THEM. This will be a place I’ll be returning to when my boyfriend asks “what do you want to eat”. Thank you Irene for your great customer service

I just left ordered a burger with grilled onions. Got home nothing but a piece of meat and a bun. Then to top it off there was a piece of the burger missing. Did someone enjoy a piece. Not happy at all. Remote learning prevents me from going back.

So fun! The team is so accommodating. We won a trip to Mexico for 5 days. We got free shots! They came and gave each of us an additional round of shots straight to the head. Super fun spot during the day. The fries and tacos are amazing! Full package deal! Super friendly staff!

Placed an order online and I had questions, which the app I use doesn’t allow so the alternative was to call. But guess what, they don’t respond to any phone calls. Tried to reach them and just got an automated response about calling at another time, which I did, and still nothing, it doesn’t even ring. Plus after the machine is done it automatically hangs up so you don’t even get the option of leaving a message. After a long day at work this was a very frustrating experience so I will not be buying from here again.

Staff is rude I got a raw burger and the host kept confusing my order and when I brought it up to the manager she gave me a nasty attitude and kept rolling her eyes the whole time. My daughter spotted two roaches on the table next to us we told the manager and all she said was oh ok
