Smith Opera House reviews
12It is beautiful! I was there for a wine event, so probably did not get the whole experience I would have gotten had it been a performance.
The seats were comfortable. The sound was great. The view was fantastic! What a great place for a concert.
Great place to see wonderful artists like Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Visit some of the local diners like FLX or Halsey's. The building is really well taken care of with new bathrooms. We always enjoy the shoes we see at the Smith.
There for a fire fighter conference.
The venue was nice and easy to navigate. Staff were nice.
A rarity amidst the Central NY cultural desert providing worthwhile entertainment that is a cut away from the typical social offings the region provides. It is my hope that this 1500 seat venue can be used again for appropriate events that are close to its original purpose in addition to shows the public wants to see.
Very nice there I like the old fashioned nostalgic look of where the stage is very nice helpful staff
Amazing theater! Beautifully resigned in the 1930s. It has has a stunning art deco motif. They get some huge names and offer excellent behind the scene tours!
Saw another great show, Lyle Lovett! But we were in the last row in the balcony and it was terribly hot.need to add some fans and circulate the air.
A wonderful theater. The perfect size for the type of acts I love to see live. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't so uncomfortably hot in the balcony during the summer.
Beautiful old opera house. Seats are a little uncomfortable for a 3+ hour dance recital. But we managed. Geneva NY is such a nice place to walk around. We enjoyed parkers for dinner which is 2 doors down from opera house, good eats and drinks.
A lovely venue, sound was great but the air conditioning was not sufficient. I enjoyed Lyle Lovett & band but sweat the entire time due to the heat & humidity.
