Visiting my mom is never easy, the staff here are the best, they make the visit go easier and they are always so upbeat

I've spent over six years as a resident in Smithtown Center. Never before have I experienced such kindness, empathy, love, and affection. The professional and knowledge level of the workforce. In order to ensure that I and all the other patients are well taken care of, my CNAs, Josheline P, Jocelyne T, Jeff B, Tamika H, Rona, and Marie St, go above and beyond. Emmanda, Angie, Christine, and Kelly, the nurses, always see to it that my needs are satisfied. My housekeeper's Glenys M and Sally makes sure my room is kept neat and orderly at all times. I'm glad to call Smithtown my home because the entire staff there treats us like family.

I want to share my families wonderful experience with the staff at Smithtown Rehab and Nursing. From the initial visit and getting all of the necessary documents handled. To the day my mom arrived, and now 5 months later everyone has been so helpful and caring. I want to give a very heartfelt and genuine thank you to the staff in Unit A. Jenna, Danielle and the whole staff in Unit A have been amazing. There is nothing easy about the job they do, but they do it with passion, grace and love.

Staff is very friendly HOWEVER, the facility is old (visible cobwebs in rooms), staff negligent, and misplaces their residents belongings (which the front desk staff did warn me it would happen if items weren’t immediately itemized). The loved one my family left in their care was hospitalized within 72 hours after them arriving due to the staff’s negligence and lack of updated resources (i.e. Bed alarms)
There are nicer rehabs for your loved ones this should be an absolute last resort … they need a better operations director that actually does their job.

My mom has been here since April '23 I'm happy she's in a good safe clean place & receiving the best care imagable everyone here is very helpful & caring it's nice not to worry

I recently went to visit a family member that has been in the facility for quite some time. Even though times are tough around the holidays, it’s always a pleasure to see the amazing staff take care of the residents in the facility.
I was hesitate about the facility at first, but then Ms Allie gave me the reassurance we all need and answered all my questions perfectly.

OmG what can I say Kerri from unit D is awesome the Best Ever she's always on top of her Game she's very knowledgeable the staff is great and took good care of my Grandma. 100% recommended

I'm a long term resident here and I went to out back yesterday Dec 14th for lunch and had a great time with Jen and kena from recreation great girls I love them. There should be more people in the world like them D. V.

Recently my 99 y/o Mom was sent to Smithtown Ct, after a hip fracture for rehab. She received great care from the staff. RN Kelly M.the charge nurse on her floor (C) was amazing tending to my Moms medical needs. Her assistant LPN Emmanda C.is so dedicated & amazing she cared for all her patients as if they were her own family. Aide Tamika H. Always made sure my mom was well cared for during the day. Marilyn D. Nurse supervisor checked with me every day and always went out of her way for us. Of course the P/T got Mom walking again thanks to Nikki K.the OT that kept Mom motivated during P/T sessions. Both social workers Laura M. & Jennifer S. We’re a big help in dealing with the Medicare details. Thanks to you all. Mom is back in assisted living.

I love going out with Jennifer and Kenya. They really are alot of fun. And really care about everyone, always lots of laughs. They are always attentive and generous with help and make sure we are satisfied with are meals and service. I also want to give a shout out to my favorite nurses Jenna and Jessica and the fabulous Teresa and last but not least my mother Julia. They are all wonderful women. And take such wonderful care of me and my needs

Jennifer W in recreation was so nice to my mother in law Joanne F.while she was there. Joanne isn't very social and didn't want to participate. Jennifer was so nice to Joanne and helped her to get involved. She made my mother in law's stay so much better and helped to calm her when when she was upset about being there. I am so appreciative of the excellent care and patience Jennifer gave my mother in law, giving us the peace of mind that she was well cared for.

Great rehab, nurse are great. Unit manager Keri is awesome, extremely attentive. Handle all concerns perfectly.

So I don't usually leave reviews unless I really like or dislike a place and sometimes for personal reasons, but I went to visit a relative here. I didn't expect much but was surprisingly amazed by the service the people here gave. The receptionist Sabbie (guessing on the spelling) was able to help me out immediately when I arrived and Lisa the admin assisted me with alot of the random questions I had. I was expecting a subpar establishment due to past experiences but I truly feel all the people there are in good hands

Kelly greatest nurse coordinator ever to care for me in this establishment to all my emotional needs and helped me so so much afterwards my admissions and cared me greatly now as I needed couldn't have survived without her & her support caring nature.feel grateful for all the staff that has helped me. Aileen has been so supportive and been by my side since I've been back and just is nice to talk to. Her voice is calming. All staff, including house keeping has been on top of it.

My mom has been a resident of Smithtown Nursing and Rehab for a year and a half. She is getting the best care there. The nurse Jenna is wonderful-she always keeps us informed and is so kind to everyone. Sherry, Jillian and Jean take wonderful care of my mom. She always looks neat, clean and comfortable. The staff here is excellent and couldn't be happier that my mom is in such a nice environment.

My Mom has been a resident here for four years. Staff are very caring. I would like to acknowledge the following staff. Jenna, her nurse manager is excellent. She is caring and provides excellent nursing care and works with with us to help provide the best care for my Mom. Her aide Jillian always has my Mom clean and looking good. Jennifer, the staff member in Recreation really looks out for my Mom and helps her tremendously. Thank you to these women and the rest of the staff for taking good care of Mom!
