1 Unfortunately both Jason and Travis are no longer at Snug Harbor Marina. Huge loss for the company. Beware of getting services or gas there. The last place I got gas in fall 2021 was at Snug Harbor Marina. Had engine issues immediately after. I took my boat to another marina to have it checked out to find out I had 2 gallons of water in my gas tank. When I notified Snug Harbor, I was told I must have a gasket leak around my gas cap. It seems extremely unrealistic that 2 GALLONS of water would leak into my gas tank from rain around my gas cap gasket? ! The bill for repairs and draining the water from my gas tank was over $1,000. Snug Harbor Marina was unwilling to compensate for any of the expenses. After keeping my boat at the Marina for years, sending friends and family there, I am beyond disappointing with the disregard for my ongoing issue. I had my 2 cycle engine switch to a 4 cycle engine by Snug Harbor. Two employees told me that they did not or forgot to drain the gas tank that had the 2 cycle oil in it. This has also caused continuing issues with both of my motors. As you can see in photos the black that was taken from my fuel filter.
In pictures you can see it would be virtually impossible for 2 GALLONS of water to leak around my gas cap? !
You also can see the black liquid that came from my fuel filter as well as the water that was in my gas.
