Beautiful place but.who ever they have answering phone calls is rude and incoherent. I called and asked about renting their spaces, they have 2 rooms, and I told them it's probably for over 300 ppl and the woman told me no because it's too many people. I said ok if I lowered the number to their exact capacity would it be OK and the woman said no.because I said it's over 300 initially. I said but I can lower it she said no still. And they don't host "public" events. I said mines wasn't public.she said yes it is. You know 300 family and friends? I said yes I do.unprofessional people handling phone calls is never good business

Booked this venue space for our babyshower - event space was great and was able to fit our large party. Shari and Jon were responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. Day of the event everything went smoothly! Cleaning crew was super helpful during and after our event.

At the end of our event we had tons of gifts and decor to take home - somehow we forgot our stroller! Shari and the cleaning crew were so helpful in locating the stroller and making sure we got it back! Would absolutely book another event with Sobro Social:)

Great place to rent and have an event. My friend had a pop up shop of black owned businesses.

Loved the location, the children had fun with the bouncy house and the play area. As well as the adults with the giant tic Tac toe. Was very spacious for people to dance and had everything we needed for our event. Thank you. Best Wendy M.

The space is amazing. & the staff they have to help throughout the party is great as well. We had an amazing time & can’t wait to rent the space again

The event space was amazing. I loved the set up. The staff worked well with us. The kids had a great time. Definitely would book this place in the future. Special shout out to Mrs.sweet stuff on the ballon columns, cake and cupcakes.

Please don’t book here run run run place is dirty and no air ventilation, nothing works ceiling fan, bathroom dirty, place dirty, they so ghetto and no parking at all…. It’s a nightmare don’t book with them oh reception is rude and nasty… Look elsewhere trust me! If you want your deposit back you will not get it! They make every excuse so they can keep payment. My daughter’s baby shower was not what I expected even with the great decor we did the place still was horrible. Guest complained all night how hot it was etc…Do not book them!

Their room was perfect for my granddaughters 5th birthday party. It's comes with everything you could imagine. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

This event space is nice but based off of the customer service, the passive aggressive condescending receptionist, and unprofessional owner, I would never recommend this place. We wanted to reschedule not cancel our event because of a death in the family but was told we would lose our deposit.

Be clear! We had a lawyer look at the contract with many holes in it, it has nothing about rescheduling only cancellation. Due to limited timing, we had to have the event. Maybe they don't know how it feels to lose a mother. There are so many other black owned venues in the Bronx, I'll pass on this one.

This space is huge and with the right amount of decorations it can be a beautiful event space.

My mother died 2 weeks before my event. I explained to the owner that my mom passed away unexpectedly. I asked is there anyway I can push my event back because I had to plan for a funeral. The owner refused to change the date (mind you I didn’t ask for any money back) Just time to grieve.

I had to plan my son 2nd Birthday Literally one week after having a my mother’s funeral. After explaining this to the owner, he had his Secretary reach out to me and my cousin Numerous times asking for the rest of the deposit after I explain to them that I was in the process of planning a A funeral. I was told that if I didn’t have the money by a certain date I will lose my whole deposit. And I explain to them it’s not that I don’t have the deposit I just don’t have the time to come in because I’m planning a funeral. The owner and the secretary was very rude even when it came time to give back the damage deposit. But luckily I got that back!

My family and I had to make the best of my event! Despite it was a bitter sweet day.

Wow wow wow watch your back this place will rob you of your money while they are smiling in your face don"t patronize this establishment unless you have free money to give away even with this new variant of covid they will not give you your money back or let you change the date

My cousin gave a deposit for her husbands bday party and the owner wouldn’t give her her money back or change the date (which was really what she wanted to do). That’s $800 down the drain, the owner is money hungry and unethical. Like not even a change of date. Definitely DO NOT recommend this place for your event! I would give it no stars but you need to give at least one in order to leave the review. I’m disgusted and appalled at his lack of communication and his lack of consideration. He took my cousins money because she has COVID concerns with the venue as it is a party and with all these variants thought it would be safer to change the date. Terrible terrible terrible.

For the area and price everything was perfect. The owner is straightforward with his policy and is easy to talk to. The place wasn’t dirty but I still cleaned up a bit to my wife’s likings. Everything you can need is there just be aware that this isn’t a catering service, some legwork is needed on your part.

I had my daughter 23rd birthday here. I wasn’t happy with the space. It wasn’t clean & the bathrooms was out of order. The lights in the bathroom wasn’t working it was dark it was actually like a night light in the bathroom. Behind the bar area on the counter it was black as we wipe down. I also seen dead roaches around. For the smaller room it was 1900$ & with the money we paid everything should’ve been in order. Only good thing is it was a nice size but it definitely wasn’t up to standards if your rent from them make sure things is in order. I wouldn’t rent from here anymore.

It was a great palact to host a nice size party in NYC. It came with a clean up crew too.

Gave my husband a 40th birthday party. The place was nice and spacious. Everyone had a good time. They had a contract which was a plus because it’s a lot of shady venues. I wish the elevator was a little faster. But other than that everything was great
