Amazing Experience! I highly recommend this company. The 3 men who showed up worked quickly and were very friendly. Clearly they had a great system and kept me apprised the entire time on how things were going. The random odds and ends plus furniture were packed quickly and with care. At the other end of the move they asked where to put everything and looked at the boxes I had labeled to make sure they were headed to the right rooms. The ones I hadn't labeled were set up in such a way that I could easily get to everything. A wonderful move! Couldn't have been easier!

I’ve done 3 moves with Solidarity and each time has been excellent. The pricing is very fair, they respond quickly to questions/changes, and the crew is always professional, capable, and friendly.

Eddie and Vinny were very thorough and efficient! They arrived right on time and were also very communicative throughout the process, letting us know the start time and what the extras would be with the boxes and blankets for our one-way move!

I decided to go with Solidarity because they had good reviews & I loved the aspect of a portion of the money going to local charities. However, my experience using Solidarity Movers was not that great. The movers were not professional, they banged up our mango wood side table, denting the knob. The one mover dragged a heavy dresser across our brand new floors leaving a big scratch. The movers also blasted music while moving, which isn’t the worst, but inconsiderate to neighbors in the building. Moving is already stressful enough, the last thing you want are movers who are rough with your belongings. We were quoted around $500 and ended up paying $950. That was more than what it cost us to move from out of state. This most recent move was only 4 miles in the same city. Just note, if you go with a flat rate moving company, make sure your inventory list has EVERY single item included, otherwise your quote is not going to be accurate. That was in part my fault because it was a first time using a flat rate, so I thought I gave enough information to get an accurate quote. Not the case. Also, making a reservation with Solidarity, I never got to speak to anyone over the phone. They only emailed and text.

Amazing company that I have used on several occasions for my family members. I'm impressed with their work with social causes, in addition to quality service with cost effective rates. They were able to customize a few moves that helped relieve my anxiety from concerns from other companies I've used in the past.

I could not be happier with these guys. They immediately responded to everything, price was fair, advice was good and they showed up when they said they would. Move was efficient, careful and thorough. The guys were mature and professional and took care of each piece. NOTHING BROKE! Even my poorly packed dishes and glasses came intact. Move-in was flawless. Solidarity Movers are INCREDIBLE! Please support them! They are wonderful, careful, thoughtful movers, but more importantly, they truly give back to the community. Over the course of several years, SM has donated services to local non-profits including the one I co-direct, Whoop Dee Doo, in a way that is so considerate, I can't believe something like this exists in nyc.
