Tried delivery for the first time, food never arrived (this post is 2.5 hrs since order placed). Enjoy the food, know now to always just pick up.

This place is trash. Been coming here for over a decade. Will never be back. Charged me $. 50 per sauce. The containers are 1/3 full. I asked them for full containers. I would pay you 1k for some damn sauce on the side. Just fill up the containers to order! Can’t even package the food right. Spilling all over the bag. Miserable ppl working here. Wish I told them to keep the food and refund my money. GARBAGE. Sad to see it as a person coming from years in hospitality. Wouldn’t be sad to see this place shut down. Bring something better to the neighborhood. This place is bringing it down. When the next pandemic like hardship comes (because it will) they will not get a dime from me this time around.

Very well-seasoned food, cooked perfectly. Offers a variety of meals to choose from. Staff is respectful and attentive.

This place is always busy but the food is amazing. Their breaded chicken with moro rice is my go to but if I don't want a full meal, I'll grab some chicken empanadas. Make sure you get the green sauce!

Service was not that great, the empanadas were stale/hard and meat was dry. The price is ok, reflects the food.

Food was great. Had the pernil and white rice with black beans with a side of plantains. It must be the NYC rent driving these prices up. Two entrées for this type of food and location should not be 40 bucks.

My favorite soul food when it gets cold. Don't forget to ask for some extra green sauce!

I got the Chicken Sandwich and immediately took it back. The meat was rubbery. On the other hand, i had a take home meal which made up for the lulch i had, but not enough to increase the rating.

Was in the Downtown Manhattan area, hungry and looked for a quick-service spot. This place, which I been wanting to have a cuban sandwich for a while. Looked no further and came here for lunch, ordered a cuban sandwich. Service is very fast and efficient. As I ordered the cuban, they already had one in the press. In less than a minute, that sandwich was in my hands, nice, hot and toasted. Tasting the cuban, it was authentic, legit and tasty, with all the components coming together in one sandwich. The portion sizes are also generous, and for the price you pay, its a very good amount of food that you get. Prices are very fair being located in the financial district. The atmosphere is like a school cafeteria setting, with seating available.

Didn't realize it's a franchise. The word "mediocre" comes to mind when thinking of this place.

Ever since my aunt brought me here, I went there two more times. I don’t live in the city anymore so I can’t go all the time but when I go back I should definitely pick up some food to take home. The food is soo good.

This place makes my mouth water every time I think about it. The food is delicioso. I'm drooling right now. Don't think! Just go! Just try not to slip from all of your and everyone else's drool wen you do show up at this place.it's sooo good, it starts getting wet like a cougar wen young boys walk into a room

Most delicious empanadas especially the beef and chicken OMG! Friendly service and delicious, authentic cuisine!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE LIKE MOST PEOPLE AND DON’T WANT THE PEOPLE SERVING YOU FOOD BETING COSTUMERS’ DOGS. I stopped here to grab dinner and a man walks in with this massing dog who appeared to have some form of skin disorder because the fur around his neck was missing and skin was visibly red and irritated. As I was going to the counter to pay for my orders the dog started to approach me I told the owner to give me a second to move because I am afraid of dogs the owner pulled dog back and waited for me to move to the sitting area at that point the two young men called the dog to the counter top to pet him then proceeded to handle food. I WAS DISGUSTED I TOLD THEM HOW NASTY THAT WAS AND WALKED OUT. GROSS! I WILL BE CONTACTING MY BANK FOR A REFUND AND THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT TOMORROW MORNING.

A restaurant that bears my first name is definitely good) the products are fresh and quality and the portions are generous

No complaints about the service. The ladies were nice. But not really my taste. I really thought it would be filled with more flavor. There was no salt in the veggies or taste. The plantains were the only thing I liked. The rice could do with some flavor.

Food was surprisingly good, cooked well and tasty. The atmosphere was clean however gave off a “Cafeteria” vibe similar to a school lunchroom. The staff was pleasant and the price wasn’t too bad for the area. If you want a quick bite for a good price definitely come by but don’t stop by for the atmosphere. Strictly business, get the job done and eat

This is good restaurant. The service is always great. The food is good. The green hot sauce is Amazing.

My only complaints are that the portion size is a bit small compared to the high price of the food.

If you like Latin Food.

This is the only option you have around NYC. Their locations keep growing.

You will keep comming back again and again. At least for their Green Hot Sauce.

Needed to get a quick lunch in between taking family to tourist attraction and decided to try this place. The food itself was tasty and reasonably price considering it's manhatten.was it traditional cuban? Probably not.they had a combination of Cuban and Puerto Rican (which I both love). I had the ox tail, which was delicious. The only bummer was no Moro (mixed black beans with rice) and no picadillo (ground beef stew). Also, there was no Mamey shake, which was disappointing for a "Cuban place". Overall, I enjoyed my meal and the old cafeteria style vibe which reminded me of Miami. If in the mood for some good Latin food.definitely give this place a shot.
