Pizza Restaurant Sottocasa reviews
18Stunning pizza, run by Italians, in a cozy basement. Wonderful staff. Don't expect the typical American pizza. Loved the salads as well. A real gem in Harlem.
Loved this place! Came on a Saturday night and shared the romana pizza. Please do drizzle the olive oil! Staff was kind and friendly! Even remembered my partner and I the next day when we came in to get a margarita pie to go! Would definitely recommend eating here.
AMAZING. If you love pizza this place will be your top five go to pizza places. The gluten free crust option is incredible.
Best pizza in NY! The marguerita is very tasty and the pizza alla Nutella is the perfect dessert. Besides that the place is cozy and as informal as it should be.
Got a white pizza. It was inedible. Soggy and undercooked at the same time. Won’t order again.
Overpriced antipasti and dolce. I'm not understanding why there isn't a reduction in price when removing toppings and esp.if one would like to replace an item on a pizza when ordering online. I have no idea if it's different with dining in person but from having lived in Italy, this pizzeria doesn't feel authentic (brussel sprouts on a pizza and $12 for Nutella pizza?). Of course it's going to be difficult to find authentic pizza in America but I had high hopes.
Troppo costoso e ancora shoccata che non ci sia un'opzione per sostituire i condimenti. Se rimuovi qualcosa non dovresti dover pagare il prezzo intero.
This is the best TRULY ITALIAN pizza in NYC. It is no different than if you ate it in Napoli. I have had it in Napoli and had it here & it is the exact same.
It’s also undeniably the best gluten free pizza in NYC. What a gem!
The staff are warm, welcoming & attentive. The vibe of the restaurant is perfect. The wine is great. We are so lucky this is in our neighborhood!
And a great back room for small private parties.
I am dairy free too & waiting for the day they offer a dairy free mozzarella! ;)
Pro: Authentic Italian pizza (a little soggy in the center) but i love it, crust filled with airpockets and thin. They use reL mozzarella and fresh products
Con: They only sell by pie no slices.
They serve wine, cocktails and sangria but no open bar
I recommend others to try you might fail in love
A+ experience across the board, I highly recommend this spot. Try the Salsiccio and Taleggio pizza with the spicy olive oil.
The location is very inviting in the beginning but like all other restaurants that have tip included the service is not that good the staff is kind of cocky not all but you will see for yourself once you go.would I go again NO!
Delicious Neapolitan style pizza.
Very soft sauce, very rich and crispy dough.
We ordered the one with vegetables and the one with two mozarellas with cherry.
To drink they offer natural water but we add ice tea with lemon and an aranciata.
The price is reasonable and the
Ambiance is cute.
What a taste of Italy. The pizza is athletic and the Italian Beer selection is amazing. They serve it correctly. I will definitely be back. Give it a try. They have inside and outside seating.
Excellent Neapolitan pizza they use quality flour and quality ingredients fully recommend.
Italian place, located in the Harlem area. Excellent pizza. Tasty salad. Here you drink Italian coffee. Very kind owner. Advised.
Great pizza. Cool vibes. Tip top service (be patient on busy nights). Please have the peppered Olive oil with your pizza.
Extremely friendly, cozy environment where it’s perfect to catch up with friends/partner or decompress. Recommend this place as it is incredibly welcoming and food is great for nearby treat.
Super cozy
Italian restaurant.
It was good food, many kinds of pizzas. The pizzas were baked in a real pizza oven. The pizza crust was on the thin side.
Definitely recommended.
