So, a few of the negative comments are past members who caused issues and were unprofessional. The current group of members work hard and treat each other like the family they are. SMFD is well respected with neighboring departments. So much so towns in and out of Wayne county call us when they need assistance. We are happy to serve the community and more.

Your volunteers need to slow sown in the neighborhood. A blue courtesy light doesn’t mean you can do 45/50 through the neighborhood. There are children and people walking animals. Be aware it’s not a race track.
