I have nothing but GREAT things to say about my experience buying a car at South Shore Subaru in Lindenhurst. My salesman, Dan Thorburn, was fantastic! As I had to sell my current car a few days prior to picking up my certified pre-owned 2019 Crosstrek, Dan and the company were gracious enough to arrange for me to have a loaner for the interim. That was a MAJOR help to me, as I would have been without a car. Dan stayed in close contact with me over the next two weeks, keeping me up-to-date on the status of my Crosstrek.we were awaiting the arrival of the new title. This was my first experience buying a car by myself, and Dan was an absolute pleasure to deal with. There was NO sales pressure to make me feel like he was trying to lock me into a deal and Dan was very accommodating and patient by helping me play around with the different financing options. When I went to pick up the car after two weeks (I had the loaner this whole time, mind you), Dan took his time going over everything with the car features to make sure I was comfortable. He even put a big, beautiful red bow on the car to celebrate this special moment for me. SUCH a nice touch! I would HIGHLY recommend South Shore Subaru, as well as their salesman, Dan Thorburn, if you are looking to buy a car. AMAZING experience. I have been raving about them to friends and family since I drove my Crosstrek home that day, which I absolutely love, as well!

This was my first time leasing a new car and Brandon made the process extremely easy. He took the time to listen to what I needed after inquiring on their site and got me exactly where I wanted to be, then walked me through every step of the process to complete the transaction. I would highly recommend working with Brandon for anyone looking to buy/lease a Subaru, he works hard to ensure the whole experience goes as smooth as possible even following up to see if I had any questions about the car after driving it for a couple days.

Matthew Schaefer was a great resource for us. Very smart, personable, honest, helpful and attentive. He spent a lot of time with us and made sure we got exactly the car we needed- nothing more, nothing less. Matt is a seller of cars unlike any other we’ve encountered, which means a great deal after several negative experiences at other dealerships. The service package that came along with the purchase was great, too. So grateful for our experience with Matt!

A special shout-out to Brandon Larnaitis. He walked me through the entire process of vehicle purchase. He was in constant contact right up to delivery. Upon leaving, you feel like family.

I went to a few dealerships and I had the best experience at South Shore Subaru. Addys was friendly and professional. He explained all the features on the vehicle in detail. During the test drive, he made sure I use some of the features that Subaru has to offer. Such as AHV and auto drive. He wanted me to experience the stability of the vehicle by directing me to drive on the highway, over the train tracks and bumps on the roads. Abbys was not pushy and he helped me get the best deal for the vehicle. He even picked me up from my home to the dealership to pick up my car when it was ready. I am happy to say I am now a proud owner of the Subaru Forester.

Update! 5 stars again. Brandon this time and he represented excellently. He was friendly, knows every vehicle. Every part of the process was seamless. A+.

I just wanted to thank south shore subaru for the pleasant experience we had this weekend when coming in to "sit in and just test drive" a forester. We met with Lou Martinez and also spoke to the Sales manager there on 3/13 in the afternoon. We test drove, talked numbers, were offered food and drink and every question was either answered without our even asking or answered immediately when asked. The sales manager even came by to make sure we were comfortable and if we had any other questions. We did not come in to make a deal that day but based on our satisfaction with the staff including the really nice financing department and especially Lou, we did. What a great place.

Just picked up our third Subaru and the second from Brandon Larnaitis at South Shore. It's rare that buying a new car is a pleasant experience, but South Shore Subaru really breaks the mold. Our first car from them three years ago was a quick and easy transaction, and the most recent (November 2023) was even easier. Brandon is knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with and an excellent communicator. He kept us updated the entire time we were waiting on our Ascent to come in, and made the lease process as easy as it could be. The finance associate was also easy to work with, getting us out the door in about 15 minutes. We will continue to be customers of South Shore Subaru.
