Southern Tier Hardware, Elmira NY

They have 50lb bags of Guinea Pig food for a great price. The critters shunned it at first but by now they cant get enough. I might breed some more now that I'm stocked-up. Also found good paint gear, not over-priced like most hardware stores are for quality stuff. Stocked-up on some items I had a feeling I won't find anywhere else. Where do these little family stores find this durable stuff? It's one of life's great unsolved mysteries.

Not a bad place they have nuts, bolt, etc. To feed for all kinds of animals and stuff to redo rooms like paint

Shopping here is like taking a step back in time. Their inventory is very good and the workers are always pleasant.

I've been going to STH for years. Staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable.
ALWAYS a hello. &They are more than willing to help find something if I need help.but they don't hover.the price difference from big box is minimal. & They have the cheapest propane refill around.

Excellent locally owned hardware store. If I can get something here before a chain, I'll gladly pay the price difference.
