Just adopted a 14-month-old dog named Sheba 50lbs. She is a wonderful dog, and they were so helpful connecting the right dog for us. Thank you, NFAWL

We adopted our rescue dog from here in January 2022. Excellent, caring staff. They were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the whole adoption process.

My fiancé and I adopted a cat from here in July. We were told that the cat was very friendly with other cats and dogs and that they even tested him with other animals. Turns out he is not good with other animals and is extremely aggressive towards our other pets and ourselves (he scratched up my fiancés face pretty badly). He’s extremely territorial and has been spraying everywhere since we adopted him. They also neglected to tell us that he has kidney disease - something we found out from the vet less than a month after adopting him. We have tried to contact the rescue since August for help and they have not responded. We’re upset to be put in this situation when it’s not what we wanted.

Please be wary of adopting from this place. They are not honest about the animals they are adopting out and it’s a disservice to those animals to place them in homes that aren’t a good fit.

Very well organized shelter. The dogs outside have very spacious areas to stay in. The indoor cat areas are nice to visit and hang out with the cats. It’s a no-kill shelter too:)
