Southwestern Medical Associates, Orchard Park NY

I've been reading reviews about this practice and want to say I've been a patient of Dr Vakante since she started this practice with Dr. Whalen. I have had nothing but good experience with everyone there. Dr. Vakante listens to every concern I have and explains everything to me. My hope is that she doesn't retire before I leave this world.

As a new out of state patient…. Was greeted very professionally and efficiently…phone questions were answered promptly by all staff…meeting with Dr S caring and helpful to handle upcoming surgery procedures

The staff at SMA are very nice and professional. They are very accommodating with same day appointments for injuries and illnesses. The nurses and doctors have great follow-through communicating test results and completing forms and paperwork. I highly recommend this healthcare provider.

If I could give zero stars I would. Long story short I had to cancel an appointment. I did not reschedule it on purpose due to conflicts with time. I told the lady on the phone I would call back to reschedule she said OK next thing you know I get a nasty gram in the mail stating that I am no longer there. Patient because I missed too many appointments. I’m an adult I don’t play games. I don’t miss appointments I reschedule or I cancel. Needless to say, I found another doctor and we’re getting along fine now…thanks dr.amy wnek for nothing

The greeting is warm and welcoming, receptionists are awesome. Candi has changed my life. I have lost 120 lbs and my diabetes is totally under control. It has been life altering.

Just switched to Dr. Sireika. She is great! She seemed so nice and listened patiently to all my diagnoses and concerns, she was professional, knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions. I liked her very much. I saw the other reviews about the bad office staff but when I went I didn’t have any problems and everyone seemed nice. Will update if that changes. So far I’m very happy I switched doctors!
