The service was prompt. However, the coupon I pre-printed from the website was not honored. Keep in mind if you are planning on pre-paying or using coupons.

AVOID PARKING HERE - I placed a reservation here yesterday for one night. I paid additional for an oversized vehicle. The total fee was $35.16 for my reservation. When I arrived the garage attendant told me it would be an extra $15 for the oversized vehicle. I handed him my reservation parking pass document to show that I already paid for an oversized vehicle. He reviewed the pass and handed it back to me and said there was no problem, but that I had to provide the parking pass to the attendant the following day upon check out.

So I checkout today, and hand the new attendant my parking pass to checkout. He said he could not take it because the parking pass was for the parking garage across the street. Just FYI - the garage across the street is owned by the same company and is an SP Plus garage. He told me I was going to have to pay $69 to get my car. This is after I already paid the $35. We argued for 10 minutes. I told him I wanted to speak to the manager. He said he was the manager and would do nothing. I told him that I checked in with his employee the night before and the employee said everything was fine. The employee said nothing about being in the wrong garage. Clearly, I would have moved my car across the street. I didn't even know there was a 2nd garage on the other side of the street. In the end after arguing with each other for 10 minutes, I just paid this ripoff fee to get out of there. The employee, Louis would do nothing. Finally, he told me to call the reservation company and have them refund my $35 b/c I never used the reservation. Of course he didn't mention this during the 10 minute argument.

Immediately I contacted customer service at SP Plus and I was told that the first attendant should have told me that I was in the wrong garage. I responded that I should not have to pay the $69 charge. She laughed a bit and agreed with me, but said she was sorry and would not refund. She gave me a number for the reservation company and said to request my $35 refund from them. I did this and my refund is in the process for the $35, but SP Plus should be the company providing the refund and it should be the $69 not the $35.

This is the biggest SCAM ever and I will never park there again. SP Plus should have accepted the first parking pass that I paid for. Both garages are owned by the same company and are literally across the street from one another. Shame on you SM Plus! Watch out for this company. I guarantee this has happened to other customers before. Great way to scam customers out of their hard earned cash.

One thing I'll never understand, is that this company may have been able to rip me off today, but I will never park there again. I visit NYC every 3 months and stay in the same place. I will never use this companies garages again ever. I told Louis this. His response - "Okay. " You got me once SP Plus; won't happen twice. STAY AWAY FOLKS.
