Such a welcoming gym! Coach is fantastic knowledgeable, supportive of my goal and patience with a beginner! Highly recommend……anyone out there that needs to get back in the fitness game Sparta Gym is the place!

Great gym with great new equipment. Went in for a day pass and paid $30 for the day to train. Big space, great layout and everyone racks their equipment. If lived in Long Island I would deff join this gym

Went to the Island for Thanksgiving and found this gym for the first time. I was blown away by the amount of awesome equipment and being 10 am on a Wednesday it was practically empty. The owner Gene was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! He showed me two pieces of equipment that I've never seen before and they made for an amazing workout. I found my new home gym on the Island. Great Gym. Highest possible rating!

The trainers create their own programs to help keep the classes interesting and the clients motivated to keep coming back for more.

Gym is dark, owner is rude and creeps on the females, and membership is no bargain at all $700 for 6 months. Taking my business elsewhere

I don't understand how this place can stay in business with the horrible staff and owner. The most uninviting rude individuals I've ever met. As soon as I talked to them on the phone I knew it was bad but I went in just to see, they are just as bad if not worse in person unless you're willing to pay an insane sign up fee then a high monthly. Also because they seem so desperate to hide prices for 1 month was quoted $140. Please go anywhere else.

This place is a complete SCAM. My bro tried to sign up for a month and was told it was $140. What's so special about this gym that it costs 140? The only good thing he said was that there wasn't a lot of people. Not worth 140 dollars AT ALL! Ridiculous

It's really amazes me how you can take money just like that without any remorse. This businesses is disgusting I hope no one else even thinks of joining so they don't experience this disgusting excuse of a business.
Btw the staff was very rude and came with attitude because they had to answer questions

Called in to see what the price for a membership is and was told rudely that they'll only tell me if I go there in person. What kind of bussiness can't tell you the cost to join? Heard the owner was rude as well from multiple people and that they don't tell you the price over the phone because they have a ridiculous initiation fee and other hidden ones. Just because you buy a bunch of random equipment doesn't mean you can run a successful gym by being rude to potential customers. I'm heading over to Bev Francis Powerhouse in Syosset even though it's an extra 10 minute drive. The lady at the front was very sweet when I called and told me the prices right off the bat, no messing around and no gatekeeping. Also only heard good things about the owner. Hope this place goes out of bussiness so they can be bought out by someone who knows how to run a bussiness.

Hardcore gym number one on Long island 100ilb plates, boxing ring this spot is loaded if u want a hardcore gym.

Best gym I have been to, never overcrowded, clean, always easy to find space to do whatever you want to do.

Have to say, I see lots of good reviews on this place but my experience was less than that. I walked in few days ago, Looking to possibly join up.since last time I was a member of a gym was back in March, onyx in bellmore. The owner, I'm assuming, was extremely uninterested in my inquiry and gave me a very high price of $200 down and $65 per month! I realize gyms have taken a hit with pandemic and all but that price is way more than I was Looking to pay. I've trained at tons of gyms in past from super hardcore to commercial and the owner acted like he couldn't care less for my business.didn't offer me a tour of place, ask me any questions, nothing. So, I obliged and walked out.highly unimpressed. Not to mention place was empty. I have decent equipment at home and was just looking for gym ro supplement for couple times per week. I'm headed to crunch in bellmore for $20 month and very comparable equipment. Unless money is no object and you're ready for an owner who clearly doesn't want/care or need your business, then I'd skip Sparta for a gym that wants your business.

Sparta Gym Nail technician was great. The spa was clean, service was top-notch. I highly recommend this spa to friends and family.
