21Did not clean well their station to examine the eye. The doctor seemed like she was tired of “cleaning” and washing her hands. I don’t even think she used soap, just washed fingertips. She was also rude. Staff did not disinfect glasses before or after giving them to me to try on. Someone walked in without a mask and they didn’t even enforce the rules of wearing a mask. Felt very uncomfortable in the place. After getting home I receive a phone call stating that they didnt have the glasses that I chose and that I should go back to pick other ones. Didn’t even bother going back to try anything they weren’t going to clean. Totally didn’t care about their customers. I decided to go to another shop to pick out glasses at Metro Optics and received great customer service. Only allowed 6 people at the time and also cleaned everything with disinfectant after each use and all the stations. They even had a cup that says unused pens and used pens. Should’ve went there in the first place. If you’re running away from COVID don’t visit Spec for less.
Do not go for DMV Eye test.they do not know how to send your test results to DMV.they tried to help me but lost 25 bucks because they do not know how the system works. They need to register to dmv website so they can have access to system to put test results in. I already called another pharmacy.they said that they send the test results right away. Doctor Kenneth seems to be nice person but he did not care.he was keep saying that we do not do that. Instead, I would expect him to say that we will try to register which is free by the way.they do not have to pay anything.they just open an account with dmv and put tests results in.terrible experience. I can not imagine that I buy a pair of glasses and had a problem.they would probably say that we can not do anything.after you pay for the service, they seem that they do not care.you find your way.
One staff is not friendly or helpful. There is only one lady I work with an she nice.
Two frames on the glasses are expensive and so are the lenses. Overpriced!
I like my eyesglasses been going for a while. They are clear. I brought several prs. But I can't afford new lenses
So what I do with all those frames?
Staff bad like rude n no help in helping choose a nice pair of frames. Sad selection of frames for fidelis Medicaid not fair. Upgrade please,! Doctor nice other than it sucks
The customer service was horrible they are racist they went on to speak about me in Spanish not knowing that I spoke Spanish I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. This is Spanish Harlem!
Rose is a wonderful person and so nice! Thank you Rose. Also, the Latina woman optometrist is so professional, kind and great! Takes her time.
Been coming here as a child and now that I moved to Brooklyn I still come here, all the staff is great!
Customer service sucks.the guy that works the front desk there is rude.rude.no privacy in regards to your personal information.not recommending anyone I know to go there.
I am very comfortable at Specs for Less. The entire staff are always friendly and helpful. The place always seems so busy, and they manage it well.i will continue to go there for all my frames.
I had a great experience here. I came in with a Group on deal and expected a quick and dirty exam and cheap glasses, instead I got a great experience, Raul and Dannie are both incredibly helpful and friendly, and explained every step of the process to me, It was radically different from every other eye place I've ever been to, you can really tell they care that you walk away happy.
More skillful customer service, much more patient to help you find your need, and treated with respect. Glasses work it's up to your description. I was happy with mine. My experience in ten years is good.

I've been coming to Specs for Less for 13 years. Not only do they have great prices, but excellent customer service. Over the years I have purchased many, many, glasses. Stacey is my favorite sales person, I would not buy a pair of glasses without her advice. She is very cooperate, kind, and caring!

I have been going to Specs for Less for over ten years now. The staff are lovely, friendly, they make me feel welcome. I get all my glasses and contacts there and am very satisfied.
There frame selection is pretty average but help is not that bad. They accept all types of payments and insurances. Making frames through them can take a while. It's like this shop got stuck in time. The other shops around the area aren't any better. Would definitely come back only because there close to where I live and there cheap. Walk-in are also possible given the time of day.
Why are they nickel and dime-ing me for a broken eye glass nose pad. My left one broke off. She didn't even offer to help. Just tell me $5 dollars to fix. Come on. It's a nose pad. They were short with me and more kind to other patrons that were Latin decent. Why they pushed me aside and dismissed me is disheartening. I don't like places that show preferred treatment to Latin patrons and not there other patrons. I will never step a foot back in that store. Ever.
Incredibly overpriced and suspicious sales methods. They tried to charge me $300 more for frames than the actual cost, which happens to be what my insurance will cover for frames. The saleswoman couldn't even look at me while she told me the prices. Coincidence or scam to get my insurance payout plus more out of pocket costs?
The staff are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. I am always satisfied with the selection of glasses and contacts.
