Spectrum is such an over priced service. Jan 2023 I signed up for ACP to save $30 a month on their internent service. Jan 2024 nothing has changed in service and billis now 89.99 a month. WOW, so much for savings when a company who controls the internet service in my area raises prices to compensate forany savings a customer gets.

I cannot find their store number online and even a spectrum call center agent wasn’t able to provide their number. It shouldn’t be difficult to check if an item is in stock before driving half an hour to their location

I left there and was told my data was all transferred to my new phone and it wasn't. I could've stayed home and switched stuff over myself. Plus I had to wait over an hr. The person kept pulling over other reps to help her. Maybe she was just new there. Idk.

What a mess, they put in a log in device you have to fight with to enter your information, a kiosk is a poor excuse for how it should run.

I wish I could remove the 1 star. This company sucks. They can't service customers in less than 45 min. Not enough help for phone and cable service.

This is a terrible company to do business with. I canceled my service and they won't stop trying to bill me. All of their employees are useless and cannot help me.

I never leaves reviews but dealing with spectrum has been a horrible experience for the complete two years I’ve had and tried to cancel service. There was constantly an issue with my router where it needed to be reset completely and restarted throughout service. I got constant texts that there were issues at my location that needed to be fixed, though nothing was ever fixed. I was called constantly and mailed constantly for offers I never wanted, even after asking multiple times to not be called or mailed. And cancelling the service has been a month long nightmare that is still continuing! I was told that I would not be charged for the days service was not provided, I was charged the full amount. I was told I would not be charged for equipment if it was returned, I was charged over 100 dollars anyway. Then, upon my third or fourth phone call to ask why they kept charging me money, it was finally explained to me I would get a refund, in possibly a month or more, maybe, and only in the form of a gift card! But spectrum failed to ask for an address to even mail such gift card in the first place a month ago when I stated I was moving as a reason for cancelling service in the first place! So only after being charged almost 200 extra dollars for wifi I haven’t had for a month, did they remotely mention the gift card being mailed and, and, I had to force them to take down my new address. All in all, I will be utterly amazed and awe struck if this whimsical magical gift card ever makes it to my door step. I have never in my entire life dealt with such money greedy, rude, lying, and outright robbery, disrespectful borderline harassment from a company. I will never ever, EVER, have another service with spectrum for as long as I live. And I will die on that hill.

Just switched to Spectrum. Hunter was amazing and answered all of our questions, super knowledgeable, and was very kind and respectful the entire time.

It isn't the customer service at the store but how they handle the internet they provide. I have been with Spectrum for years all around the country and here in Horseheads is the ONLY time I have had my service throttled this bad.
I have the 500 mbps service and routinely get 200's jumping up to 480 mbps. My son isn't even able to watch Netflix it lags so badly and I don't even want to start on his gaming.
I know throttling isn't illegal but this is completely insane how much this area is having done. I will be seriously contemplating finding another provider very soon.

Don’t waste your time or money with this company that doesn’t care about there customers and have no idea what customer service is, after talking on the phone to support and being told I can pick up my equipment, to being told I could pay a bill and pick it up, to being told I’m on a wait list till Friday, having it shipped and being lied to about the shipping time and if it was even shipped or not, to going in the store after my 7 day wait just to be told oh yeah we meant Saturday not Friday, truly a disgusting way to treat your customers, especially when trying to resolve this in chat support just to be told there’s nothing they can do, no account to compensate and the agent just being done and leaving the chat. The only reason this company has any grip in this area is simply because it’s the only thing that’s decent and they sure do take advantage of it and your wallet and not care one bit about the people they serve THE NEXT DAY: Literally get told again I can’t get my equipment because even tho the guy told me yesterday I would be able too now I have to apparently wait till the 20th, they have no clue what they are doing it’s ridiculous

Not enough employees to function with customer flow. Unless you make a reservation, don’t bother coming in. You’ll waste your life and likely come out 20 years older.

Went to store signed in and had been waiting almost half hour when another lady came in and did not sign in and just walked up to counter and was helped right away. Not very happy. If I gotta sign in and wait she should have signed in and waited till the rest of us before her was taken care of. Not happy at all

I stopped in today to grab stuff to set up service and, I won’t lie, the wait was excruciating. So learn from me and make a reservation ahead of time and make sure to sign in on the little kiosk thing in the front! The five stars is for the service from the employees. There were A LOT of people waiting and most were quite vocal about their displeasure with the wait time. BUT these employees were doing the best they could and were working so hard. I was helped by Hunter and he was absolutely amazing. He was so great and turned a boring errand into a memorable, not-so-bad errand. 10/10
