Spice Diner reviews
20We entered the restaurant when it was empty. It took them about an hour to bring our food. All the other customers who came after us finished eating and we still didn’t get our food. I asked a few times nicely how much longer, they kept saying it’s almost ready. In the end they forgot a few things and my sister never got her food at all. They forgot the naan and when I reminded them they brought it out much later so we had to sit and wait and had nothing to eat the food with. They even forgot to bring all our rice for the butter chicken. And I asked doesn’t it come with a side of rice? She said you didn’t ask for it so I never brought it, you had to ask for it. Despite all this i didn’t complain once and when it was time to pay for the bill they charged me almost $50 tip and I finally said I’m not giving $50 tip for this service. I told him I will leave you a tip but not $50, I will write the amount myself. They were refusing to take it off and the woman was very rude and nasty. They never once took responsibility or apologized but instead the man owner got involved and said “I have 6-7 restaurants and I’ve never had a customer like you, do me a favor and never come back here again. ” What a sad excuse for a manager. Best of luck to them with their slow service and disrespectful manners.
Extremely over priced with little to no quantity. Their serving size is 1. Keep that in mind when you order.
Quantity: (1/5)
Taste: (3.5/5)
Service: (4/5)
Ordered takeout of brain Masala and 3 naan. $43. Brain masala was good, but the quantity is so little. It felt like it was an appetizer. We went back in after checking to make sure we got the correct size. Comes out they only have 1 size.
Food is good. But not worth it when you factor in the quantity.
Horrible management! Won’t recommend to anyone. They just don’t know how to treat anyone. Therefore, they need to hire decent people and give the best quality food with the best quality service!
Very poor management, will Provide zero value for your money. A complete scam management needs a reality check fr
Save your time and money. Made reservations for 2 from a different state. I get to the parking lot and they tell me they can't accommodate me unprofessional
I always been ordering via Uber eats and this time my order is completely messed. I received someone else’s order and when I called to Spice diner the lady who picked up the phone was so rude. She completely denied to listen to my issue and disconnected the phone. Never order from this place. They got unprofessional and unethical staff.
Honestly food is not good. First restaurant that the food looks amazing but it has no flavour. It’s definitely edible. However, for a Desi restaurant things should at least have some flavour.

Pictures do not do justice as I took it to post diner/aftar when everything was over.
Went to spice diner for Aftar All you can eat buffet on Sunday. The reservation was smooth, and I found a table, luckily. I have not been to this place before so was going with low expectations. Seating is small with 10-12 tables and maybe 50-70approx seats. The ambiance is good. As soon as we entered, we are welcomed by the staff, who are very courteous. 5/5 for customer service. Looks like it is owned and run by a family. Fillings were warm and ample. Nothing looks microwaved or old. They have a few Chinese options as well, which I did not find in others.

Anything you request to be delivered straight to the table is done hot and pipping like naan or tandoori chicken. Even the manager/staff was serving rooh afzah and dates to tables at the time of Aftar.
Tea was not included, but we tried later. They have dhoodh patti, and masala tea made to order, not pre-made. 5/5. Best Tea.
Customer Service: 5/5

Value for money 25$: 5/5

The restaurant is okayish. If you are looking for some Pakistani cuisine then try out this place. They usually take a little bit extra time to serve the food so if you are super hungry then call first and order through phone if you are not planning wait for food.
Over all it’s seemed a bit overpriced. I took a goat paya, two roti and two sodas and it costed me around $40.
Nonetheless the goat paya tasted good. I will rate it 8.5 out of 10.
They should stick to Authentic Indian food, well chef doesn’t know how to cook Chinese food at all, we ordered chili chicken hakka style and it tasted like chicken cooked in Indian curry with green peppers, you guys should have short menu and expertise over each dish …. Focus needs to be on taste per item not just long itemized menu.
I usually never give bad reviews but this place will lose customers over pennies. I ordered 100$ of food (bread, kebab, 3 orders of butter chicken) I asked for extra sauce. They gave me 4 small white ones (2 oz cups) and 4 green ones. I asked for more and I would pay. The lady gave me an attitude. Poor service.
Charged $3 for water when we didn't ask for it, and waited around 30 minutes for the first dish. Food was reasonably priced but could have definitely tasted better. Pretty filling with good portions.
This restaurant has good food, but they always bring me the wrong order, third time dining in and I ordered something else and they brought something else
The food here is the best I don't eat meat or chicken but the vegan food here is fabulous and so delicious it's literally mind blowing and its just soon good my experience was amazing.
Went for lunch the mango lasi tasted sour and the nahari tasted rank took 2 bites and lost my appetite the aloo and keema paratha were good starters buts thats about it
They are rip-off you what ever u buy from here i bought 15 naan and they charge me $32. I mean i didn’t buy in the whole New York 15 naan for $32 so guys i didn’t prefer u to go there but
If u wana experience so then go there check it out and compare to other restaurants (thanks)
The food was absolutely delicious. Could literally eat there everyday. The lamp chops are to die for. Highly recommend.
Very good food specially i like their Dahi bhalla, only few good veg items are good so its ok because we ordered butter paneer and paneer tikka masala but we didn't found any difference between them, one should be spicy and other mild
Ambience is minus 5 stars. It was hot evening of june, we were sweating while owner had direct chilled throw on her dice. Food taste is good but not worth the price how it is served and presented. No dress code. Extensions are hanging on walls. Glass were greasy. Want you to pay cash, although they charging tax. But if you pay with card, they charge 3% extra.
I'm sorry spicdiner live the food a part please if you wanna run this business you have to learn management and service rules especially in ramadan and buffet
