Spine Center At Unity Hospital, Rochester NY

I’ve been with unity spine & pain center approximately 7-8 years. In my relationship with them started great! My 3rd doctor, Dr. Kalia & his assistant Amy, have been very frustrating, The lack of communication is concerning and not being able to get a word in because they speak over you, is very concerning. Then 10 months ago, I had an auto accident and still no one has communicated to me that appointments are being changed or pushed out months with no explanation. 10months later, I’m still in extreme pain. I wish I had read the reviews.

Terrible, terrible service! I checked in at 2: 45,15 minutes before my appointment. Wasn't seen for a little over an hour. At 4, I asked reception if there was anything going on and they said they checked me in but it didn't complete, so I don't know what happened at my appointment time. Maybe they thought I never showed up. They told me he has fo see all his patients before me and I was seen around 4: 20. All in all I waited about 1 and a half hours for an appointment I had to schedule out 4 months because there was no avliablity. Another guy in the lobby was told he wouldn't been seen because of the backup. Inspite of leaving 2 hours after my arrival. My Dr was great.

Have nothing really positive to say about this clinic. They are the only place I could go to for workers comp. I am constantly in discomfort and pain. Nothing has been corrected with going to this clinic. The PA that has seen me has given me no suggestions on what to do next or what can be done next with my discomfort and pain. She has made me feel like she doesn't even care if I am seen there. Pretty much told me that if I could be seen by someone else because it's comp that they would not care if I had to switch offices. Steering clear if you can.

Dr Kalia’s PA Amy is the rudest person I have ever come across at a drs office. She does not listen to your worries, and does not let you get a word in while she over talks you. Highly recommend not dealing with her. She has no bedside manner at all!
