Spirit Halloween, Rochester NY

The Spirit Halloween employees all told me that there was no bathroom. Section 2902.3 of the 2015 IBC and section 403.3 of the 2015 IPC stipulate that “customers, patrons and visitors shall be provided with public toilet facilities in structures and tenant spaces intended for public utilization. ” So not only is this a stupid policy, it is an illegal one. One employee had the audacity to recommend I go use the bathroom next door at Joanne Fabrics. When you go on your employee break, do YOU have to walk over to an entirely different store to use THEIR bathroom? No. You use the bathroom in your store. You liar. Fraud. There is no honor at this Spirit Halloween; deceit runs through the veins of their employees, truly wicked Halloween tricksters.

Spent $300 on a bunch of stuff 3 days ago. One costume was too small. Went in to exchange for larger size today and was told nothing they can do. Why would I ever go back? Worst customer service ever. I guess it's party city or Amazon from now on.

I paid $100 for my son's peeley costume. I feel like for that much money you can put a quality zipper on the costume. I will never be spending another dime at the store as long as I live. Only got to use the costume three times before the zipper broke. If you're selling low quality stuff you should make it cheaper.

A very full store, I didn't know they opened up back in the end of August, and while the store wasn't full it still had enough items in stock to get ready for Halloween. Great location for all MCC, RIT, UR students.

They had a respectably wide selection of costumes, but it was a bit of a downer that they don't carry the plus sizes indicated on the back of the packaging.

The spirit of Halloween is the best Halloween store around that I have ever been too it's too bad that they are not open year round

One of the workers out on the floor was really nice and helped us pick a size and the gentleman at the register was also really friendly and excited. It was great to see people in a good mood seem to enjoy working there.

If I can give 0 stars I would I had a horrible time at this store me and my friends came into this stores we are all women of color the store really had nothing but white people in there we were the only black people there we were racially profiled by a guy who was working the back and the fitting room he followed us all around the store peeking at us all in our space every time I turned around he was right there time goes by the police walks in and walk to the back of the store and approaches him and ask him questions me and my friends had peeped that so started to speak upon it the police ended up leaving out of the store and the guy eventually stopped following us I felt so uncomfortable in this store I will not be back again at this location I didn’t even want to buy nothing and I couldn’t even have a good time looking at the costumes NEVER AGAIN he didn’t follow nobody else but as soon as we came in he was in our backs
