Spot Dessert Bar reviews
17I always say it is impossible to do a dessert place wrong. It is, but this spot goes above and beyond. The matcha lava cookie was amazing: not too sweet, and filled with matcha flavour. I could have eaten three milky puff plates. Perfect combination of banana, ice cream, croissant and crunch. Will come back for more!
The desert were delicious and the drink as well they had a promotion where you can get a desert and drink for 17 which was great!
Delicious and unique desserts. Really fun spot to come with a small group of friends after dinner. We ordered the seasonal special, Watermelon Dacquiose, and the Golden Toast (my favorite).
You enter this basement establishment and as soon as you walk in you get a waft of smelly air (like bad perfume mixed with mold). And then you’re told you must order their $13-16 deserts PER PERSON which is insane. A hard no. Staff seem nice though and it sucks they have to tell people this ridiculous rule set by out of touch management
Came in with a party of 5 and was told that "Every person must order a dessert. " No sharing allowed, if you didn't order you couldn't sit in the restaurant. Predatory practices that don't care about the customer and exclusively care about their money. Take your money somewhere that will appreciate it.
First of all the place is tiny, seats are uncomfortable and the music is so loud you can barely hear eachother.
Second, you have to order one dessert pp or make it up to $15 per person, which, by the size of the desserts/two ice cream scoops will give you diabetes.
Third, our waiter was rude and had a sassy attitude towards us.
And last but not least, the desserts weren’t even as good, they were okay, not worth the price and not worth the calories.
Go spend your money on something better.
Small place. Busy. Might not have seats available. Be patient. Interesting and tasty desserts. Pricey, but order with QR code for a discount. It's totally worth it trying at least once.
We ordered the matcha molten cake and french toast. The french toast was amazing and so much more than I expected, the brown sugar really upped it- 10/10. Unique and memorable go-to spot. Service was fast
Creative yummy dessert bar. Found this place from Instagram, and it did not disappoint the hype. Harvest dessert was creamy and tasty, not overly sweet. You have to pour the earl grey tea on the dessert, mix and eat. For everyone who thinks the plant pot is also edible, IT’S NOT! Only what’s inside!
There are literally a million other places in the city that have better desserts and don't make you feel pressured to eat stuff you don't want to eat:) Go elsewhere!
It's ridiculous that there is a required minimum # of orders at a freaking dessert shop. If it was a minimum spend amount per table or person or something, maybe. I understand businesses gotta survive in this ridiculously expensive city. Whatever. But forcing people to order a specific kind of dessert is the dumbest thing ever, even in this city. My friends and I stopped by around 6pm on a weekend - not during their peak times which start at 7pm. We weren't really hungry and just wanted something sweet real quick so we ordered ice cream and drinks. Someone came back to tell us that we HAD to order a dessert from the front page or to take our dessert to go. It was like 6: 15 (which according to them, isn't peak time) and the place wasn't packed or anything. Took my ice cream (they got the flavor wrong too lolll) and left. And I won't ever go back!:)
This place is always consistent! Great vibe, awesome menu. I gravitate towards anything with chocolate and matcha (the matcha lava cookie is my favorite!). My brother’s favorite is the golden toast. My party also got an order of the Pasteis de nata. It was pretty tasty. One of the better versions I’ve had outside of Portugal.
Very good dessert bar to have a snack at 5pm. Hearty desserts, original, varied and made to order. We feasted!
Love this dessert spot!
The desserts are pricy but they taste delicious and are unique.
One minus point is their outdoor area is closed.
Cramped, but the desserts are so delicious. My favorites are the golden honey toast and the harvest. When I went last, there was no wait time, but there usually is! Super fun and inventive desserts.

Be careful before you go there. They charged you for no reason. First the host will tell you to order minimum one dessert per person! Second the host will tell you to order by app that is called appollo. So u have to order from that app without servers still i see a lot of staff over there without serving us and we have to tip the servers 18 percent minimum on that app no option to skip that. Till they don’t serve us. Third a lot of fees and tax charges on that app for no reason. Be careful before u go. If u don’t want to waste your money. Go to other place.
The food is delicious, especially the Matcha Lava! However, they litterally forgot about our order and had us waiting 40 minutes for our food. Youd think the waiter would be like “Hey, the order didn’t go through” but no. I think it was intentional as when they initially took our order they forgot the order registration device thing. So of course it wouldnt go through! They did profusely apologize though so all is well. Again food is amazing and I would come again.
