Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas, Garden City NY

Expensive and among the worst food and service I’ve had from a restaurant. The taste of freezer burn is overwhelming. They made me a drink that was $18 I believe and tasted like jet fuel with a hint of lime. I was eating there while 2 others tables were sitting at 2pm and my food was freezing cold and honestly disgusting. I recommend nobody give this place their money

Absolutely love coming here for apps and drinks but unfortunately had a terrible experience when I came here to to inquire information about having a bridal shower party here. I came with my mom and sister and the First Gentlemen we spoke with was very kind and helpful. He told us he was going to get us the general manager to give us more information. She came out and was very rude and unprofessional. She actually asked us if “we could read” because the fine print on one of the menu options said Monday through Friday only. Every time we tried to speak she cut us off. It was so upsetting that I actually walked out and said I don’t appreciate how you’re speaking to us. I wouldn’t recommend having a party here for this reason only. It ended up all working out though because we are having 100 guest at Verona in farmingdale. Staff and owner were very kind. We are having three courses and an open bar. Excited to give good people good business.

My wife’s and my “go to” restaurant for several years. Never disappoint. Love the food, the staff and the ambiance.

Tried to go here for the second time this week and brought a friend. I had hyped up this place after my last visit so what happened was really embarrassing: we legitimately stood at the host stand for 10 whole minutes waiting for someone to come over. They never did so we left. When I have actually been seated here it has been good food. But it is crazy to not have someone at the host stand. It’s fine if you’re busy, but you need to greet me and tell me there’s a wait. Just extremely rude, while the bartenders and other staff just stare at you waiting there and say nothing to you. We left and went to Small Batch by the mall and were greeted and seated immediately.

One of the best tapas spots on the island! I've been coming here since college and the food and quality are still amazing. It's great for a romantic date or a night out with friends. They also offer an amazing brunch and happy hour! My go-to dishes are the Funghi pizza, Crispy Octopus, and the Strawberry Mascarpone bruschetta. I highly recommend checking this spot out. Just a wine and cheese bar. Small portions but very fresh food. Service is slow. Pricey with smaller portions. Free parking lot.

Great food, not the best service. Sad in there for almost 2 hours.it was a quiet night not crowded at all. It jusy seemed like the server just didn't seem to care.

My family surprised me with a birthday party at Spuntino which was amazing. The food was delicious and space was large enough to accommodate 100 people. The staff and General Manager, Nicole, was attentive and met all our needs. They made the night extra special.

I loved having a wine tasting while I enjoyed my dinner! The plates were small but absolutely worth every bite. I'd definitely recommend

Went with my family for Dinner and ordered the salmon, it was sooo good …
The sauce really made the dish even better! Our waiter was so nice and had an amazing personality.

So I went here for a work meeting and I'm fifty fifty on this place. The place is beautiful. Nice big bar when you walk in def has a nice cozy vibe. The service was a1. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. But the food was ehh for me. I ordered the shrimp lemoncello risotto, a side of brussel sprouts and a pear spritzer. The orzo was not seasoned at all very bland. And just about everybody else at the table ordered shrimp scampi and complained about it being dry and not flavorful as well. But those brussels man those were amazing. And we all ordered that spritzer because it was delicious. Those seats at the table were very uncomfortable. Def not big butt friendly! It was for work so we didn't pay anything but the menu pricing wasn't bad at all. So ah, idk I don't think I'll be back.

My family & I went for a late lunch / early dinner. Firstly, our waiter Jeff was great the whole time. (A chef that I forgot the name of (sorry) came by to check on us as well, which was so nice).

I got the Emily Royale drink which was delicious and I love edible glitter and I took a cute video! The food was all great as well. My favorite was the arancini. We also got the meatballs, the calamari, the tomato bruschetta & more. All of the meals were great!

I definitely will return.

At Spuntino for quick lunch. Been here a couple times. Love the chill atmosphere. We were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our waitstaff promptly offered us our utensil roll up and glasses. We ordered tea and she brought over the whole box of Two Leaves teabags.
We ordered 2 different pizzas and Brussel sprouts. All came out hot and delicious. The fungi pizza is def richer because of the cheese. The garden veg pizza is lighter and we loved the goat cheese touch. The Brussel sprouts were the best.not charred, perfectly cooked with parmigiano

Enough on the menu to please your party. The wine selection is extensive. Quite easy to run up the tab based on what gets ordered - so just be mindful of the courses and plates.

I ordered on the phone for pick up and I arrived walked in to the bar section where the employee helped me and I looked at my check and it just didn’t add up to the right amount of my order their menu online says $9 and when I asked why the price difference in the restaurant it was actually $15 a piece the employee got the manager for me and unfortunately she was super rude and did not help at all or try to make me happy I asked her about the price difference and I pulled up the website and she said no it’s fake you probably made it yourself and anybody can make it and put our name on it and prices that was her solution no other reason or explanation or apology she was super rude and nasty with the worst attitude ever I’m so sorry for the employees who work with her and due to that I will not recommend this place to anyone

If I could give this restaurant 1000 stars I would. From the staff to management, everything is perfect!

I place an order to go. It was roasted chicken and truffle fries. The fries were good, but the skin of the chicken was cooked completely black.: (

Went here after a date and it was a perfect place to chat and enjoy some small plates and a bottle of wine. Great space for groups of most any size. Excellent menu with plenty of vegetarian options. And the wine list? Yeah, I would recommend trying a few!
