We switched to Squarespace a while back and have had no issues since. Everything runs awesome and works seamlessly!
Absolutely horrible customer service and impossible to get support or resolution. Be very careful if you are using this platform to build sites for clients - there are HUGE limitations with email and platform functionality. Support is very difficult to get - long waits, limited hours, and no phone/direct contact, even for escalations. Also, do not fall for the Circle membership, it's not worth it and the benefits are misleading. This company cost me multiple clients due to their issues and changes made by support personnel on the back end that tampered with client information. It's been 5 days since I initiated the support process and not only have I had no resolution with live chat, they actually created more problems and I'm still waiting for contact from management on the escalation. Very disappointed, Squarespace. I will not be using this platform again.
Their representatives are fast to response, but they are unclear with you, deceive you and trick you to upgrade as soon as they can. When you build a website you want to have a good relationship with the service provider and you want someone you can trust for the long run! Squarespace disappointed me over and over again and made me spend numerous hours for nothing. If you are a professional or an amateur, learn from my sour experience, GO ELSEWHERE and seek someone who you can trust. There are plenty out there!
Was fine when I used their services. I requested that everything be cancelled back in 2018. It is now 2020 and just got hit with yet another $73 charge from them. Will be contacting my bank next as their customer service has stated they will not refund me and instead gave me instructions on how to cancel the account again even after stating that I no longer have access to that account or the email attached to that account.
***BEWARE*** Squarespace fraudulently charged my payment card. Not once but twice. My bank blocked them under the name Share Space Inc.but then they billed my card a year later under the name Square Space Inc New York New York. Never had a subscription with them. The first time they charged my card, was a few days after I cancelled a trial. I have email correspondence from their rep acknowledging my complaint and cancellation. I got my money back. So now my bank has filed a fraud investigation on this 2nd charge. BEWARE of Any company that does not have a customer service phone number. This shows how much they care for your relationship with their product. If the same happens to you contact your Attorney General. They have many complaints online mainly to do with unauthorized charges.
My website is very good with SQUARESPACE, yes it is more expansive than overs, but i want the best for my work, and i am NOT desappointed, i recommanded it!
Theres no way these reviews are valid. Check Yelp and see the terrible service that comes with this company!

It truly doesn't get any worse than this.they have no customer service and are overpriced. Cheaper better quality options are all over the internet. The reviews must come from employees or are paid for because they should have 1 star!
Absolutely amazing workplace. Very modern and sleek building in NYC. Employees are friendly and security staff is nice.
Very frustrated just try to reach their customer service nor email. Be careful in regards for their email for verifying your account. The site will ask you to provide your social security, your credit card info and all private and highly confidential info above yourself. Meanwhile you can not verify anything thru company email nor contact info.
Fantastic company and product. The complaints I've seen are people who don't remember that a product costs money and will charge you each year (or month depending on your plan) for that product. Not Squarespace's fault you didn't check your email or check your renewal date. Keep up the good work!
I have been trying to cancel my subscription since February of this year! I have gotten charge so many times by square space that I ended up having to get a new ATM card through my bank to be able to stop getting charged. I have done live chat and email support on top of the normal subscription cancellation. Customer service does not describe what they do.
No customer service phone number.there used to be a customer service chat, but that seems to be gone too, so now you have to write them an email through the site and get an email back a day later saying they didn't understand the question, i answered and now i am waiting for a reply.this is ridiculous!
Customer service sucks! I waited forever to chat with a helper, no one came.there's no phone number to call.
