St. Catherine's Park reviews
14 Packed on a nice day, with several play structures with separate areas for small and big kids, a sand pit, swings (babies and kids sizes), water elephants for hot summer days, lots of benches and picnic tables and all fenced in.
Some shade thanks to trees.
Older equipment which would benefit from progressive refurbishment.
Very limited and difficult Street parking.
Lots of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance
Very packed on weekends with kids running around everywhere with no parental guidance. The tennis/handball walls are nice but you will have a basketball constantly ruin your clear path. People still bring pets inside the park, even though it clearly states no pets allowed.
This is a great park for kids in the neighborhood. There are swings, jungle gym, sandbox, and tons of place to run around
Used to go here a lot as a kid, and still will go occasionally with friends. Have a lot of good memories here, and think it is a really good park.
Love this little park in our neighborhood. Can get crowded around the time school let's out. Too many stoner high school kids around though.
This is a kid and adult friendly park, with trees and benches to relax and have lunch while watching children and their care givers playing on the swings, slides and monkey bars. I like to sit and read a book here, while a public library is just a block away.
A great New York city park with no fanfare just a place for kids and adults alike to have fun
Love this little park. I go there early in the morning to shoot some hoops on the outdoor court that now actually has "glass" backboard and a net. It is great and really rare to find in NYC parks. Can get really crowded on weekends though.
Nice park. Lots of babies and nannies. Park services need to stay on top of garbage or have more garage cans- it was kind of a mess after lunch.
Neighborhood park with a nice play area for the kids, basketball court and track. Perfect for outdoor events!
Great spot for hanging around but sometimes pretty much occupied with kick ball games like after 6
Super clean NYC Park. Parking & restaurants nearby. Perfect for a private lunch or picnic or facepaint? , my pleasure painting faces today! Gemfaceny.com
Park for everybody.family with kids would love it here.seats available.take a stroll inside.take a seat and watch life goes by.
Spans almost 1/2 a city block so a great place for kids from this neighborhood to gather. Plenty of benches and shady areas.
The cons: it needs an update: (
The bathrooms are ugh! And all areas of the playground need a makeover.
