10 I was a former PCA working at St. Francis and even though I loved the education there
And working with the patients I must say it was the traumatizing place to work, I was working on K2 the manager Lisa Conn and Vp Donna M. Set me up and fired me, lied on me repeatedly and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it, I was racially discriminated against, falsely accused, with no real investigation. Turned to HR for help but Mr. Rick or Rich cannot remember is name was friends with Donna and took over my case and they all worked together to set me up and fire me. What I learned from this job is no matter how hard working you are once your BLACK working on K2 and not liked and have a voice you will be fired by any means. Giving they are a at will hospital they can do whatever they want to do. It’s a shame they work you like a slave and discard you like rubbish. I will never forget the stress, tears, and trauma these people put me through. And I pray they won’t get to ever do it again. Zero stars for how they treat employees
My mom has had issues with her heart and her breathing since having a surgery. The cardiologist she is seeing is aware. After taking hours to get a hold of them, they assured me they’d have their NP call back to discuss my moms issue. No call back. Then, days later, my mothers Radiologist was calling repeatedly pleading with them to call him back. The nurses then tried for over an hour while we were there to speak with someone about her. They refused to talk to my mothers doctor despite the urgency! Maybe the doctor was nice, but the office doesn’t take heart problems seriously. Assuring me someone would call by end of day and then hearing nothing sucks. Time to find another office. Unreliable.
Everyone there I have come across here is very pleasant and experienced. My cardiologist is amazing. I had 3 tests done today. All of the staff i was involved with today was so caring and professional.
Some of the negative comments about South Bay have to do with billing and scheduling. But zero to do with how great and caring the doctors are and how they pretty much save so many lives. Now on to the actual review. My doctor is great and always listens. I referred my father to my doctor and he found his issues and corrected it.
A really great experience. Friendly, punctual visit this time. The office is a bit frenetic but things went smooth for me. Michele at desk, Jackie medical assistant and Dr. Kamath were all great.
The scheduling process was effortless, and I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating their staff was in finding a convenient appointment slot. Upon arriving at the clinic, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Furthermore, the clinic's state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities were a testament to their commitment to providing the best possible care.
BEWARE! If u make an appointment they put you in a room & forget about you (1st apptmt, I waited nearly 2 hrs in the room),
Making an apptmt to see the doctor, they cancel the apptmt saying the doc won’t be in so you see the PA. OK, then if you leave a message for your doctors secretary to call you back, they never call. PA doesn’t call back either. This practice is too big & they take on patients they can’t handle. I’m living proof! I’m disgusted with the treatment I endure & I encourage others seeking a caring cardiologist to go somewhere else. Too many mishaps
Don't go here. The doctors and pas are uncaring. I scheduled an appointment at 4 pm for my elderly father who only needed a halter monitor to be placed on him. Because he is disabled I had to rent a wheelchair accessible van to transport him. Because of paperwork and traffic, I was delayed for 30 minutes. Unfortunately I could not call regarding the delay, and the tech could not wait. It's pathetic how uncaring the staff is. I should have gone to Northwell instead.
This place is very busy that I understand I went there for my father for cardiology clearance dr just told me that he is clear but they don’t gave me any discharge instruction on written paper so when I called them for 1 medication instruction when to take or stop I spoke with secretary name is Tina, Kathleen, Jackie B all of them they answer me back same that they message the dr but he don’t reply yet so my father got apt after 4 days tell me what should I have to do just wait them call back they never answer the right. Very nasty people they can only treat you if you have good insurance. I will definitely change my cardiologist not because of the dr it’s staff.
Horrible service and doctors add tests even after they find out what the issue is. Can’t get my records emailed only fax and have to go thru so much to get them. Nurses chat like kids with no regards to patients being in front of them. I’m 36 and was already taking one blood pressure medication and they put me on another. Then told me to come back if something gets worse…. Ummm it already is HELLO
