St. George Coffee, New York NY

The sandwiches here are amazing, but that's where things end:

- It gets far too hot from sun facing windows
- Wifi does not go to the far corners of the dining area
- The coffee isn't great and only oat milk isn't ideal/practical
- The merchandise that says NYC has sold out and been replaced by London merchandise with no note of when NYC will be restocked.
- The staff is generally rude and unhelpful if you have questions. It seems like you're bothering them by stopping in.

It's very clear this is run by a clothing store, not food/coffee company. The aesthetic is great, but the coffee and service are not.

Beautiful place with great atmosphere. The food there was nothing to brag about. The cookies were dry and the sandwich was over priced for what you got.
The coffee was amazing, great place to read or catch up with friends. Free WIFI and only one plug in.
Would go back for the coffee

We happened to walk by here and returned for breakfast. The seating is incredibly cute and the service is friendly. We had a tuna sandwich which tasted fantastic. The other sweet baked goods also looked great. Coffee also very good!

My favorite place ever. Don’t even get me started on the sandwiches! Incredible! They use imported flour for all of their breads/pastries- which sits surprisingly well with my ~slight~ gluten intolerance.atmosphere = 10/10

Really nice café with coffee and sandwich options. Great cookies they only serve coffee with oat milk.

Even though my laptop is not a Mac, the Internet worked very well on my HP. I tried a Cappuccino and it was very tasty. I recommend them

The coffee tasted great though only having oat milk limits the selection considerably (seek cappuccinos elsewhere). I love the idea of mini baked goods, but why are they priced as if they're full sized? A cinnamon bun the size of a golf ball was $6 all in. Freshly baked though! Nice place but pricey (even for this neighborhood).

Has the best chocolate chip cookie. It was crisp on the outside and had a chewy center. 9.7/10

Only oat milk? Obsessed with the space and wanted to like it so badly but can’t come here for coffee, matcha, etc. Not even having regular milk eliminates the majority of the population from ordering a drink sadly…

Ordered a cold brew and wanted a splash of milk/cream and the server said they only had almond milk which I said was fine. She charged me an additional $1 for the almond milk - for literally a tablespoon on top of my cold brew. Unreal.

Very slow service during the morning on a weekday and they didn’t have many breakfast pastries available. Nice space to work from but I will not be returning - if you’re in the area, please visit Bedford Studio, Do Not Feed the Alligators, Merriweather, Oslo — basically any other coffee shop in the vicinity. So not worth it.

Great sandwiches and baked goods everything is so fresh and delicious so glad to have this place in the neighborhood now!

All the food here was really delicious you can tell it’s been made fresh. The sandwiches and gooey cookie bar is amazing!
