3 Sorry to say I went to the thrift shop and barn looking to purchase a small book case. They had a few, I would have purchased one but they refused to sell them reason being they need shelf space. The ones I would have been interested in had very little items on them and could have easily been displayed on a table.
If their goal is to make money then that defeats the purpose. Very disappointing.
What more can you say when a priest is called upon to have duel pastorial duties in 2 parishes and appears to be successful on most accounts. Fr. Greg seems to be a rock solid Roman Catholic leader. There's an old expression if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything! It takes a man of God to stand up to the world. This is what is needed in these times of lies and comprimse! Thank you Fr. Greg for your positive zeal!
Most unwelcoming church! Very hurtful. We just moved here in Long Island. We are looking for a church near my work. It’s Good Friday and my wife came early to pray. She went to the bathroom and tried to go back. The staff won’t let her in even though she explained her situation. You know in any church, people come late, go out to “breathe” and still able to come back in. I am sure opening the door will NOT BOTHER the service. Even on Broadway or Metropolitan Opera you can come in and out. Same thing in St Patrick’s Basilica.
What happened to All are welcome! She was crying because of the incident. All she wants was pray and she was forced to leave. What is the real reason why was she was told not to come in?
You hurt her, we are very ill and need prayers. That’s all. Shame on your unprofessionalism. Shame for not welcoming people. Horrible! She came home crying.
