St. John's Recreation Center, Brooklyn NY

Early voting today I was in and out. Thank you to the St. John's rec center staff and Electoral volunteers they was polite, organized and helpful from the time you walk in until you walk out.

Of all of the recreational parks around Brooklyn, this is my second favorite place to go. They have a 400-meter two lane track and field, they have a soccer field, wall tennis as well as a baseball field. It has two water fountains throughout the park, it’s wheelchair accessible and there is a lot of parking spaces. The park is usually super packed on week days around 4PM and 5PM since most of the middle schools practice around that time.

I am a city worker on duty and I ask to use the bathroom I was told by the lady that works there that she is letting me use the bathroom one time only

The only thing I would add is more swimming classes during the week instead of just Saturday, other than that everything else is great they have great instructors who work with you (Ronnie),

Surprisingly up to date rec center. Better & cheaper than YMCA, Blink & Planet with a pool & gym

This has all the qualities of an expensive YMCA membership but waaay cheaper. The only thing I don't like is that it's not open super early.

Great place to get a swim, aerobic exercise, play basketball, play pool, and a variety of heart-healthy and mine opening experiences.

Life guard on cell phone, you better know how to swim. Nice size pool, center will close for 6 months

Great place, great people. I gave it 4.5 stars because it's a 45 minute to an hour's journey for me to get here. It's free for NYC kids under 18 and only 25 bucks for people ages 18-24 (maybe 25, can't recall). They have a pool, weight room, cardio room, men and women locker rooms, a computer room, a Bball gym, and an open park surrounding the building. This place has been my staple since I was a teen, and still is.

Love it! Pool and locker room always clean and there is always something to do, family swim is my favorite my little girl loves it too

I only go there for the basketball court and its good. They also have a team named the Junior Knicks and they recently went to Madison square garden and met the entire Knicks basketball team.

The park should be cleaner especially for the children. Often times there are people sleeping on benches. It should not be so. Today, someone was riding a motorbike in the middle of the park with children playing. This makes the park very unsafe.

It has a small work our area, with minimal machines. They have a large pool and a large basketball court.

I go here to swim. I have alot of fun with my little brother. There is also a fitness room and a basket gym. There is also many more sports and fitness areas

This place is awesome it has something that you would like no matter who you are it has a swimming pool, weight room, Teen room, men and women locker rooms, basketball court dance room ect. This place is amazing

It's not that good, the female guards look and act like they just came off the welfare line.there are roaches in the locker room and the bathrooms always filthy.but most of all they really need some better trained staff it's really bad

The fees are more than fair, and the schedule does its best to accommodate children and adults with safety for the children in mind.
