Stage One Dispensary, Rensselaer NY

Tall dude with the black security shirt is probably the worst individual to ever come across. Working security Friday December 1st.

Reasons why this place is a no go for me.
1.) They take a picture of your driver's license to enter even if you have no intentions of buying anything. WHY? ! Never experienced that at other places.
2.) The flower they have on display, is behind glass and looks like it's been sitting out for weeks. 80% of nugs look brown or burnt white
3.) They say the actual nugs you buy, are much fresher and look waaay better.but if you ask 2c the actual buds, they say ''sorry, we can't open it to show u unless you've already purchased it. "
. Gonna be hard 2c this place lasting when u can get the same bud down the street for much less and you can look at it b4 u buy it

Clean and professional. I went on a very busy day and they were handling the crowd well. Long line out the door but barely had to wait. Pretty good product too.
Something I hope to see worked out in the future is accommodations for trans folk (or anyone, really) whose legal name is not the name they use. It would make for a more welcoming environment, especially for LGBTQ customers.

Consistently incompetent when it comes to their pay system, doesn't matter if you use cash. They will be rude to you and try to treat you like it's your fault when you have it clearly documented that they are failing to do a very very simple job. How hard is it to make a note that when over a dozen times when a customer comes in and you have improper information even though your pay and receipt shows the correct information, yet this is always a hang up? The flower is decent but the people who work here are completely incompetent. I cannot wait for other options to become available as to never come here again. Staff is consistently clueless and rude, security is rude, management is rude and incompetent. Avoid it and go to MA

Friendly and organized staff. Seamless process. Great products with plenty of variety and inventory. Highly recommend stage one and glad to have them! I suggest placing a pre order and paying with dutchie pay for a speedy experience!

Overwhelmed staf everytime I have been. Very poor setup at front door - run like a gas station. Won't be back.too many options to go here.

Well, it's a legal recreational dispensary, so there's that. They have flower, pre-rolls, carts, dispos, concentrates, and edibles.

It's cash only but they have an ATM there.

Now, the products. It's all legit so that's good, but I was less than impressed with the budtender's ability to answer any of my questions about the flower and carts I had. I also like to be able to look at, hold, and/or smell my flower before buying it, and that wasn't an option.

I also don't like having to give more than one person all of my contact info so they can send me a text whilst I'm in the store to tell my order was ready (they walked to the back to get and was gone for a minute). There is no need to have my email and phone number for this. I've already started to receive spam texts from them as well.

But, I was able to buy legal recreational cannabis at like 11: 45pm on a Friday. So that in itself is awesome. Just wish we had proper dispensaries like I've been to in California and Colorado with better budtenders.

Ashley over there is a fantastic human. So warm and so easy to talk to. Very happy to have that kind of warmth in my local shops! Lots of love for the Stage One team

High prices and incredibly low quality for those high prices. People deserve better. Do better.

Really dope dispensary. Melissa/Chris everyone is super helpful and friendly. The bud is legit.

Absolutely hands down my favorite dispensary. They have an amazing selection and the most wonderful staff. I love everyone who works there. It's an all around A+ experience.

First time there great selection of products. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very short wait for order and smooth transaction.

All of the marijuana I purchased was basically as good as the gas station stuff goes. Smells like pepper and cat piss (Revert Cannabis). Would not recommend.
