My central air conditioner was installed by Gelber 15 years ago. And up until now has worked perfectly. The original installation was perfect. Great job in 2008.

My central air stopped working 3AM on Wed Sept 6. I called at 9AM, spoke to a wonderful service person named Kim, who got me a technician name Thomas to come around 1PM.
He was wonderful, diagnosed the problem right away and had me cooling off in ten minutes. I was very happy.
I have a Gelber service contract which I recommend.

Had to call Gelber & Sons for an emergency HVAC leak our first morning in our new house. Marco and Efren arrived quickly, and were able to identify and fix the problem for us. They gave us recommendations for long term work to fix up, but left us in a state that we no longer have to worry about running the HVAC. They were professional and quick - I highly recommend Gelber and Sons if you need repairs!

Great, friendly, and honest service. We don’t usually have AC issues but when I did I called and was able to get same day service in the middle of the summer. They did get there later in the day but Christian showed up and was very nice, knowledgeable of the product and had a great attitude. My air conditioner lost power on the hottest day of the summer-July 28th. Called Stan Gelber and they told me would have someone over in a couple of hours. Christian and Wilson came to my house and were very professional and a pleasure to work with! Within minutes they noticed a fuse blew and were able to to get the air conditioner back in working condition. Great service by Christian and Wilson.

This is my second time using Stan Gelber & Sons and I really appreciate their service and quality work. After some initial snafus with a now former employee, JP and the office staff came through to make things right. The install team of Oscar, Kevin, William, Andrew and Orlando did amazing work, all while it was 90+ degrees. The ductless HVAC system works great and looks good. I highly recommend them.

Marco and Efren were both professional, courteous and knew their craft! Had a deep cleaning of our Mitsubishi unit and now it works like a charm! Even vacuumed the debris off the floor. Both are an asset to Stan Gelber & Sons!

Called for an estimate for an oil to gas conversion, but wanted to convert my existing boiler. The phone representative refused to believe it was possible (it is) and hung up on me. Very unprofessional All of the other companies were able to give me an estimate for this.

We have been using Gelber for 20 years for service. We had a new system installed almost two years ago and a motor failed recently. Bob in service got us up and running in a few days. Salazar did a quick install and we are breathing again. Things are not made as well anymore and it is hard to get parts but the Gelber team is still striving to keep their customers happy.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. NEW OWNERSHIP IS GARBAGE. They came, claimed to fix it. Didn't. Made another appointment for days later. Cancelled the day of. Then refused to listen to a word on the phone, changed the appointment without listening to me trying to say it wouldn't work, then hung up on me. When i called back Kim tried to claim i yelled at her and then accused me of crying. Neither of these things happened, she just didn't want to hear what i had to say. I asked for a supervisor and she claimed none was available.

Marco did a great job finding the issue and fixing the problem within minutes. Plus for the foot booties!
