Computer Store Staples reviews
16I visited this Staples in Coop city on June 15,2021, while I was on a personal trip in NY. This was an awesome visit. Customer service was excellent throughout this store. I was greeted and helped by the security Cory. Cory assistanted, helped me and redirected me throughout my visit. Thank you Cory. Then, there was Margaret. Margaret was patience and helpful throughout my shipment process. And finally, there was Deja. Deja was kind and helpful throughout my purchase. Because of Cory, Margaret and Deja's exceptional customer service and helpfulness I will return and continue to shop here when I visit NY. Thank you
I visited this store to have some items laminated. Ebenezer, who was working the copiers was swift, courteous and provided excellent customer service. The young lady who was managing the print/lamination area was clearly overwhelmed; however, Ebenezer came to everyone's rescue and went above and beyond to service everyone who needed help with the copies and then got behind the printing desk and started to fulfill the other orders for those waiting on line. This young man needs to be managing the store. Exceptional customer service at its best!
I was copying my Drivers License on this store and i forgot it there and the next day i came and a worker named Jackie helped me finding my drivers license really fast She was so nice and helpful. Thank you Jackie
The pro about this store is that it is big and has variety. Everything else.can use some work. Its great for a quick run in and out. Otherwise, good luck finding an employee.
A kind of experience where you press your teeth, shake your head and wonder the entire time. You curse yourself for choosing this place.
This staples store is great. I was helped by a young lady named Margaret who's customer service was phenomenal. She was so patient and kind to me and helped me navigate through everything which helped me so much because what I was doing there was very important
Brought in my iPhone 6 to have the screen repaired, hardened and my battery replaced. Waited about 30-45 minutes on line. Got seen and spent another 45 minutes on the transaction. Was told my phone will be rrady in 3-4 hours. While the wait time threw me off, my job was nearby, so I didn't mind and said I'd come back on my lunch. Got my phone and was told my phone was missing a screw to hold the screen down because they didn't have the part on hand and to comeback in a week or so. Yet again, for a corperate store i thought this was odd, but I didn't have much of a choice because I needed my phone. Came back, got the screw - phone worked fine. My screen started lifting so, I brought it back and they popped it back in (after waiting about an hour on line with one person in front of me). At this point, I had noticed my battery capacity was at 80% and it was less than a year since I had the new battery put in. Once again, odd. Fast forward to last week. My phone is now restarting on its own and dying at 90% from the screen popping out. The liquid armor on the screen shattered and left my screen completely unresponsive. There's now a very strong and dense chemical odor coming out of the phone. Had a friend come over and examine the damages to find out the screen was installed incorrectly, the screen used was cheap (mind you, Staples brags that their repairs/replacements are done with authentic Apple products) the battery was probably not brand new, but in "like new" condition. $165 on this repair alone only for my phone to end up obliterated in a little less than a year and a half.
2 stars for the insanely long wait times (in a place that was basically empty), false advertising of parts used, improper installation, lack of preparedness and experience overall.
I went there on 01/22/2020 for staples filer and pens. It took me two minutes to find what i needed. Unfortunately i had to spend more than half an hour just to cash out. The funny thing is that only one customer was in front of me. Only two boots open, and it was super slow. The manager/supervisor was there looking at how frustrated i was. But no action. I had to call her and complain obout it before she directed me to "copy and printer" desk to get help. I wasn't happy at all. It was after 8 pm and i wonder what it would've been it it was during the day.
Really big place with lots of supplies, they have everything and if you don't find what you're looking for you'll find something better. Staff seem really experienced and can help you with your shopping. Really good Staples.
I went to the staples in Co-Op city to purchase a printer and ink. After reviewing several items I bumped into one of the workers, Anthony. I explained to Anthony what I was looking for and he told me there was a great deal going on for a printer ink paper USB drive and protection plan for pretty much the same price of just purchasing the printer and the ink. I said let's go with that Anthony sounds like a great deal. Got to the register and met Chelsea who rang up the items for anthonys deal and it turned out to be $290. I asked Chelsea to please only scann the printer and the ink which turned out to be $184. That's a big difference Anthony.do not let the store employees and their weird incentive plans hustle you. Next time I will just go direct to Amazon and not deal with this brick and mortar. Shame on you staples train your people better
Small selection of products and poor customer service. Great location though. Plenty of buses and other stores.
Not enough staff for copy center and my last binding job looks like they made a copy of my material and binded and gave me a copy of my material and not my originals.
This the worst service I ever see out all the staples I been to. And I been to a lot in my time for years.
This location deserves the s because help was available. My family needed to use the restroom and an employee was so helpful is getting us access. Also, I needed to buy HP ink cartridges and since that section of the store had reserved HP printer accessories, the cashier was helping two individuals that seemed like an eternity to address there concerns so another store clerk helped us which was magnificent. Kudos to Staples of the Bronx co-op City. Staples can be seen from vehicle moving in normal traffic.
It was really good.once they decided they wan to make things simple. I walked searching for stickers, until a nice lady helped me find what I need. Ask before you try to find things yourself. Time saver.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is a disgrace! They stole my money and were very rude about it. I was told they were having a computer issue and I would get my money back in 24-48 hours. 72 hours later I am being told I have to wait another 7-14 days. The managers are unreliable, the staff is rude and I would not waste one moment going there.
