I have used Star Caribbean for more than 20 years and I have never been disappointed. Not sure if Pirate still works with them, but he was an awesome and professional worker.

I called two weeks ago to schedule the delivery of two barrels. Called the day prior to delivery to ensure that my delivery would still be coming on the day discussed previously. When I called I spoke to one woman who told me the delivery had been switched from Saturday to Sunday. Prior to this interaction I did not receive a phone call from them to alert me of this change. I called a second time and spoke to another young lady who told me based on the volume of work they had for the Sunday she did not think that I would
Be able to receive said barrels. She told me that I would be better off going elsewhere to find them and if I had no other place to get them in queens. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. The level of unprofessionalism from the change of my delivery date without notification to the fact that she instructed me to go elsewhere to find barrels. This was my first time interacting with this shipping company and it will definitely be the last. They obviously don’t value the customers and neither do they want our business. Shame on you! Do better!

Very unprofessional. Imagine coming to pick up two commercial bins and a barrel without a hand truck and asking me for directions as to how to get the bins through the door. These two clowns acted like they were granting me a favour. Will never recommend them especially during this busy season

Barrels were shipped on Dec 1st up to Christmas Eve it still had not arrived. To make matters worse the company made no effort to inform customers that there was a delay. Furthermore they changed the broker in Belize. The previous broker would give updates and was soooo professional and nice. They would even text. They now use the equally unprofessional Belize ship handlers. The employees there are rude and condescending also. I found out my barrrels are now at the port (Dec 27) but the brokers said their system is down.this was at 8: 30 am it is now 3: 38 pm and I still have not heard back from them.

Worst communication skills with both office and driver I booked a pick up from last Saturday this is 5 July have not seen or heard from the driver when I called the office thinking that a pick up be done on Thursday no schedule was done I would never ever ship will star shipping again don’t understand the whole the last this long and business poor

My family has been using this company for many year without incident. I recently used this company to ship out various items to my island. This company was 9 days late with the picking up all my items. They eventually came to pick up the last of my items on the last day the container was shipped out. I received no apology. Actually I was blamed by Yolanda 'the Shipping Advisor' that it was my fault because my concern for my items going out caused the delay. Idiot statement.
I was giving a quote by one of the office personnel whom I feel represents this company. When I went into pay, Yolanda the Shipping Advisor had triple the cost of the shipment. I understand a quote but it feel hurt to be raped by this company. Again Yolanda said it was my fault because I rushed the workers eventhough the pick up was a week late. Idiot response.
Yolanda "The Shipping Advisor" is harshly loud, annoyingly boisterous, rudely tempered, non apologetic, and a straight forward lier. I really don't know how she is ADVISING this company. We the customer deserve better service and interaction from Yolanda The Shipping Advisor.

They are the worst, they pick up a commercial bin for me by the time they got to the bottom of my stairs, the box was so damaged.
I am now worried that my things are all damaged.

Have shipped with star since 1999 and have recommended them to many friend's and family who still use them. From 1999 till now I had one terrible experience during the time of the manager's death. Never had another disappointment.

Very Very Unprofessional. The employees needs to be more organized and have communication skills. They do not follow through with freight payments when necessary.

Star Caribbean shipping agent is unreliable, thieves, liars, no good, rude, dishonest, unprofessional. They kept my stuff in storage with out letting me know after paying to to ship out the stuff they kept it in storage with out consulting me they told me they told me that the stuff will be shipped out so I can get them but they did not they are a bunch of dishonest this is the worst shipping experience I ever had.

I had a very bad experience! The people are so rude and they have no manners. They tell u they are coming one time and they never show up. When u call they don't answer. Its been three days later and they have not made one attempt to contact me.i am not sure where they get the people working for them but they need to get better worker!

They are the worse to deal with for a barrel pick up. The service is poor. They show up whenever they like. Very unreliable. They don't respect their customers time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My experience with Star Caribbean goes back at least 20 years and I have nothing but good praises for them. You have to be flexible with pickup time because they are very busy and can sometimes be held back by other customers. The gentlemen who come to pick up the barrel are mannerly and helpful. I will continue using them for future shipping. SATISFIED CUSTOMER.
