Star Trek Original Series Set Tour reviews
19If you are a Trek fan, this is a must stop. Very informative & interesting on how TV sets worked back in the day & props used. The tour guide answered all my questions & had great knowledge of the original show. Sit in the captains chair & have your pic taken! I would recommend buying tickets online as there was an Internet connection issue that took a while to fix, then I was charged twice & am suppose to be refunded one admission.
The sets were exact reproductions of the originals from Star Trek. Fantastic experience. The staff was very courteous. If you are a fan of the original Star Trek this is a must see!
Great museum, friendly staff and excellent tour. Well worth the visit if in the area. Brought back many memories.
Had a great time, traveled 200km to see this and it was worth it. Great sets, guide was awesome. Truly great place for fans of the show.
If you’re a Star Trek: TOS fan, this is a great place to visit. Makes you feel like you are reliving your youth and remembering your favorite characters from the original series.
Our tour guide had great stories about some of the sad pieces and guest visitors.
This is a must-visit for any true Star Trek fan. The attention to detail is incredible and the attraction is only growing from here. I was amazed!
If you love Star Trek, a trip to Ticonderoga is a must! James Cawley has built the sets of the Enterprise in accurate, meticulous detail. You can even pretend you’re Captain Kirk and sit in the captain’s chair on the bridge. You will be in Star Trek nirvana!
Fantastic original series museum, so accurately recreated, it is the only one certified by CBS Studios as well as the best for small venue to meet famous actors and producers of Star Trek!
If you like anything Star Trek, you're going to love this. 10 out of 10. Wish I had the money to see the Admiral!
Amazing experience. From the very beginning of the tour, just looking down the corridor and the accuracy of the room details is incredible. A must see for any fan of the franchise!
My wife and I attended Trekonderoga for the second year. James and his team have done an amazing job recreating TOS Enterprise, and as always organizing and hosting a great event. We will definitely be coming back.
Incredible! One of my favorite places I have ever visited! Bridge, engineering, so much really well done. Guide was good. Sitting in captains chair. Great fun. Highly recommended!
Visited this July on a whim. While I'm a Star Trek fan, I've never been one for this type of thing. I was utterly surprised by how much I enjoyed this experience. The set is a faithful re-creation of the original (from the original blueprints) and it was fascinating to see up close the way the series was filmed. They even explained the hidden nooks where production workers sat behind the walls to make the "computer screens" blink. The guides had many stories to tell - not just about filming and props, but about recent visits from various cast members. Well worth the price of admission!
James Cawley has created something very, very special with the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga, New York. The attention to detail is amazing, you will be smiling from the beginning of tour to the end. You feel like you're transported to the original series with the tour being a well coordinated immersive experience. The tour guide was so pleasant, enjoyable and knowledgeable about Star Trek and the history of the show. Highly recommend. You also have to appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit and talent of Mr. Cawley to create something so amazing. It was more than a tour, it became a bucket list moment.
We loved it! If your a Star Trek fan it’s a must see. You get to hear so much about the set and other little things that will just wow you
If you grew up watching the original Star Trek series, then you will love this place. Unique and fascinating. Warp on over.
Exceptional! We went for trekonderoga and did a moonlight tour. Incredible attention to detail and made with so much love. The warp core was my favorite!
When I hit the ship's main corridor, I felt like I had simultaneously stepped back in time 6 decades, and forward in time to the 23rd century. This is a stunningly faithful recreation of the USS Enterprise, and a valentine to television history. Absolutely worth the price of admission!
My dad and I just came back from going to Trekonderoga! I bought us tickets for Father’s Day/his birthday, and he loved the whole experience. Getting to see Jonathan Frakes and John de Lancie was definitely a highlight, and he was super impressed by the set tour. As someone who personally wasn’t super familiar with the show, I still had a great time and thought the experience was great for newbies to the show as well. Our tour guide, Ashley, was super informative and friendly and gave plenty of time for my dad and the group to get the pictures they wanted. The attention to detail throughout was seriously impressive. My dad is already talking about how much he wants to come back when The Next Gen set is complete, so we will be back!
