Starbucks, Kingston NY

Barely lukewarm drinks, supposed to be hot, that I brought to my aunt in the hospital as a treat on Christmas Eve, and we had no microwave to warm it up. 16 dollars wasted.

What can I say the drive thru was quick even at prime morning rush. Service was good and the coffee well its coffee.

I don’t know if I just have bad luck, but I have never waited less than 15 minutes for my order. The drive thru gets so backed up, there are times it doesn’t move for 5+ minutes between cars.

I’m assuming it’s the short staffing problems everyone has, but it’s 100% of the time faster to just go to the Barnes & Noble or Target down the road for Starbucks.

Occasionally they mess up the coffee but when you interact with the people there it's normally a very enjoyable experience. A big thank you to everyone that works there!

Starbucks has changed the drinks taste diffrent each time if order and it got slower even with 8 people only at 745 am. Miss the old crew they were on it I was late to work waiting for my coffee after 10 min had to go in

My a absolute favorite Starbucks. Wonderful service. Really nice vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Efficient and kind drive thru.

Horrible customer service. Waited so long in line. Barista did not know what to do with my boho offer. Then was given instructions and had to ask again for instructions. Could not retain what he was just told. Once order was placed he was fulfilling drinks for customers after me. Will never go back. Another barista said must of been a technical issue. No technical issue, issue is with the barista.

Love this place. Baristas are great! Only negative is that the store is always toooo cold and there is one barista that is so shrill and loud that I sometimes get up and walk out.

Today’s experience as I’m waiting to get my coffee, waiting 40 minutes as half if not all the staff is circling around one person as they make all the drinks. I wish I knew who it was because I’d not only promote them, I’d give them a raise.

Drive thru could be arranged differently due to the giant wave of cars at the drive thru but it may be a bit much to ask

I do order ahead pretty regularly. They are always correct although sometimes they take longer than expected. I personally don't mind waiting. I feel for the bartistas. They always seem swamped, but remain friendly.

Been to one been to them all. Although i did like the counter that was organized by the letter of the alphabet so it’s easier to track your order.

As much as I love the employees of this location, gone are the days of names scribbled on the cups along with other nice pleasantries. Please bring this back! It was part of what set starbucks above.

The only thing I get is hot chocolate. When done right, it's the best hands down. But when the barista doesn't stir it, all the chocolate sits at the bottom. Why is it so difficult to stir a hot chocolate. If I don't tell them to, I get scalding hot milk and then bitter chocolate at the bottom. It's so frustrating

Almost $6 for a medium latte. I have the wrong retirement plan I guess. Not as much people come around like the last time I went to a Starbucks. They should offer senior fates. These millennials…are out of their minds.

I don’t need for the counter guy to introduce himself snd then comment on liking people’s hair or sunglasses. I think we can all agree (?) just want a coffee, correctly prepared and quickly served. Go to a five star restaurant if you want intros from the counter barista

I have always been a Dunkin Donuts fan. Sadly, Starbucks has passed them by with much more quality drinks made with real ingredients rather than powder mixes. This is one of my daughter's favorite places to get coffee.

The employees were fantastic about dealing with my daughters severe dairy allergy. Then my fiancé and I decide to get just 2 Pike Place Grandes. It tasted burnt as if it had been sitting all day! We are Starbuck frequenters and we're sadly disappointed as we were on our way back from Vermont to New Jersey and needed to refuel. Sadly disappointed.

Kara in the Kingston NY store. She is one of the most pleasant customer friendly person I have met at any NY Starbucks. If I were not retired from my company, I would have hired her on the spot. Good hire!

Always friendly and timely considering how busy they are! The drive through (even though it’s a wait– not their fault) is always a good experience. I’m awkward and even I enjoy interacting with the employees, they’re always super sweet.
