Underwhelming experience. The place was near empty. Yet service was incredibly slow. We were sitting at the bar. It took forever to get a drink. We ordered the polenta fries and pizza bites. Food was decent but definitely not worth the price. It also took a long time too as the bartender forgot to put in our order. Drinks were expensive too. Espresso martinis are $20 each. To top it all off, they dropped the check even before our food came out. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Starbucks should stick with coffee. Definitely not worth the price.

The hype of this place is not worth it. I was so excited to visit with my partner for the first time, The store is messy, Tables are sticky. Baristas has no costumer connection they're just playing around and talking out loud while the other guest are staring at them (including us). I ordered a vanilla sweet cream nitro cold brew, their cold brew is super watery, I went ahead and ask them to remake my drink. The barista agreed that the cold brew is watery as well, They gave me a shaken espresso instead, still didn't taste right.
Food is WAYYYY over price. Nothing to see here I rather go to the Roastery to get that whole "Starbucks Reserve" Experience.

Most expensive starbucks in NY. Service isn't great either. Also queueing for "gender free" toilets was so unnecessary. Avoid

I had no idea Starbucks had this variation of their normal store. The atmosphere is different and really cool. The food selections are very different. I mean come on cannoli pizza and all types of croissant sandwiches. If you're in New York City, you have to come by Starbucks in the Empire State Building.

It was confusing finding this place as it is located in the basement of the Empire State Building Starbucks. Once there, I was directed to a nice, attractive and comfortable open cafe with lots of seating, where you grab a table and a server takes your order. Our Lattes were excellent and we enjoyed the experience. Give it a try.

The place itself is nice, but the service is messy, very long, no proper seating area and the prices are crazy

I've been in the bar 2 times and both times the drinks/coffee we got was amazing. But at the same time we had a bad expierence with the staff. They dont really pay attention, are not very nice and just behave weird in front of a customer. E.g. We we're sitting at the bar for around 10min before someone gave us the menu and the manager and a barkeeper were right next to us and didnt make us feel welcome.

It feels weird with staff that is not motivated and behave like they are at home even though everything else is supposed to be high end and classy. Plus you have to pay a 20% gratuity that is automatically on your check.

The oleatos are great though.

Visited the bar twice on the second floor. Was a pleasant experience each time. An automatic gratuity of 20% is added to the bill and is nice to not have to worry about a tip later as the service was great!
The espresso martini is a must have from here. The new Oleato golden foam martini was delectable and was heavy on the olive oil taste but worked well with the coffee.
The whiskey barrel aged cold brew comparison flight was also an interesting experience if you’re into whiskey

$340* bill for light dinner

2 people:

1 shared appetizer
1 small "large" plate EACH
1 drink EACH
1 shared pitcher drink for 2

It was good food and very good alcoholic drinks, but WOW expensive even for NYC

*Canadian dollars, USD slightly below $300

Service was ok, staff were friendly, food was not really good.
I think they better stay in coffee shop business.

This was one of my favorite spots to get NY gifts for people on my travels! I also enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks on the second floor. Service was very friendly, special thanks to Jessee (with two e’s) for serving us and giving us great recommendations on the menu. I hope to be back to NY very soon and visit for more gifts and drinks again.

When we finished our visit at Empire State Building at the exit we stumbled to Starbucks. Like a luxury place. The Guide was very helpful. The restroom is clean and very good. I loved tgis place even if I am not a big SB fan.

Jaya strongly arrogant, she was rising her voice eventhought she made mistake in order twice in the row. I am strongly dissatisfied.

Horrible espresso. $6 for trash. Worse than a regular doppio from normal Starbucks locations with rude, condescending staff to boot.

Brutally slow service even when there were very few customers in the restaurant. Went for the Espresso Martini flight and would avoid at all costs. Starbucks tried going for “sophisticated” flavors but they were very hard to even sip. The regular espresso martini looked great but the flight was a gross combination of citrus, coffee, and chipotle. Also got the coffee and bourbon pairing which was the only redeeming drink. There are better bars with better martinis.

They were amazing to my fiancée! They gave him a gift because it’s his birthday! They really made his day!

This is not one of the regular Starbucks. One floor for "To-Go", one floor Restaurant and one floor Starbucks Experience. Flagship Store at 5th Avenue. Great experience if you're willing to pay $16 for an Espresso and a Croissant
