After reading about J Starr's amazing resin-and-floral creations in an in-flight magazine on our flight to NYC, we descended on this enchanting shop in the heart of the flower district. From the moment we stepped inside, we found ourselves surrounded by gorgeous and affordable treasures that will last a lifetime. Annie, daughter of the artists (her mother and brother), welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like part of the family. The only challenge was selecting just a few of these one-of-a-kind creations to take home. If you have a chance to drop by, you will be delighted. Plus, the place smelled fabulous! Five Starrs!

5 stars is not enough! I found Starr Collective on instagram about a week before my wedding and it was by far the find of a lifetime. My bouquet was the focal of every photo and now I have it for a lifetime. I can’t say enough wonderful things. I received my order today and it brought tears to my eyes. From the fast response times via email to the beautiful wrapping. Working with Annie and Jeannine was an absolute pleasure. I am eternally grateful for their talent.

My mom and I had gone to the flower district to walk around and found this gem! It’s a family owned and operated floral preservation shop. Annie, who greeted us was wonderful. Her mom and brother are the artists who design and create beautiful resin works with dried flowers. They have a retail front but also do custom orders. My mom and I were so impressed with the talent and friendliness that we couldn’t help but walk out with half the shop! I purchased a few artwork items created by her mom and a resin letter B with dried florals. Such beautiful work! Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

I worked with Annie the weeks leading up to my wedding and she was great. Her communication was quick, concise and follow through was perfect. I had my flowers delivered the morning after my wedding, and from there on they handled all the details. They do such a wonderful job with keeping their items unique and beautiful. Brought my flowers here a few days after my wedding, and you can see for yourself the results. I did not book in advance, but I’m sure they would appreciate that if you could.they graciously accommodated me coming in, and we spoke about the style and design of what appealed most to me and the outcomes were absolutely perfect! I actually ended up ordering an additional ring holder, after picking up my first few pieces, because I was so happy. Thank you both!

I had my wedding florals preserved and ordered a few trays and coasters. The results were absolutely stunning. Starr Collective was one of the few places I found where I could drop off my flowers after the wedding without needing a reservation months in advance - they were flexible and incredibly easy to work with. Communication with Annie was seamless, and they were able to finish my order right in time for the holidays (florals were dropped off late September). Would absolutely recommend - the pieces and quality are beautiful, and it was such an easy process!

Starr Collective is the most adorable family run store full of gorgeous preserved floral resin pieces. While shopping, I commented to Annie that I'd love a floral resin letter 'D' but didn't see one in the shop. She quickly volunteered to make one and ship it to me. She kindly asked my color palette preference and told me to expect it in a couple of weeks. It arrived looking absolutely stunning - it was just what I was hoping for and more.
