State Street Pizzeria, Schenectady NY

I Love their pizza and chicken and the people are nice. Just wish the driver started early in the evening like 4 pm. For early eaters like my family. Besides that they are Great

LAs I stand here outside of their window watching them walk back and forth and not picking up the phone, which is ringing because it's me calling you standing here listening to it ring in my ear. Being told two minutes, even though it's already 12: 19 and their posted open time is noon. I think it's a very disrespectful practice just stand there and look at a customer waiting to spend his money and not open the door to let him in, so that he can sit down and wait and not have to stand the whole time waiting outside. I think that's a great way to treat your customers

Great pizza and friendly staff! A must for anyone looking for a quick slice in Schenectady or a delicious pizza pie!

The pizza is good and wings are good and they easily have the cheapest wing/pizza deals around. Paid $17 for a 6 cut (it was a pretty big 6 cut) and 10 wings (maybe a dozen idr) when most places are charging that much for just the wings

I usually get good food from State Street but this is what they gave me tonight.rotten vegetables and overcooked chicken. Thank goodness they are going to correct the chicken but these vegetables belong in the garbage.

The really great food in this otherwise decent chicken and pizza place is the Italian food. Best Baked ziti and garlic knots I have ever had!

They get very personal there and the service is great plus the food is yummy yummy yummy definitely would recommend it

My husband's actually stop by here every other day for my son's pepperoni pizza.the have the best vege pizza.

Awesome service! I’m from ohio and ordered food for my husband while he was working up there they were having a parade and all the streets were blocked off but the still managed to get his food to him! Thank you!

After moving back to NY and a long long 18 hour drive, all I wanted was a NY slice to finish the day. I called at 11, I was close by and their schedule says they close at midnight but I figured I’m nearby so it should be ok. When I called and said “order for pickup” I was promptly informed that even though they still had an hour to close “ oh no, we’re not turning the kitchen on. We have a few slices here in the front if you wanna come down and take a look but I’m not turning the grill on”…? !
Unacceptable. Honestly, the persons tone was so non chalant and dismissive if picking up an order had been reconciled and they accommodated me. I STILL would not have used my hard earned, during a pandemic, dollars and cents to support them. Shutting things down early is what all restaurants do. But I’d like to think that a kinder “No” would have still left me eager to support this local business. Consider updating your schedule online and not telling your patrons they can have the days scraps in the window because you don’t want to cook. Disappointed ️

Great food, great service, lowest prices in town, but they are unreliable. Their hours state that they're open until 1: 00 AM but I called at 12: 06 and the guy said that he's closed for the night. You can't count on them. I went here twice a week. I won't be back for a long time, if ever again.

Person on the phone said they only deliver 3 miles away.when I told the person on the phone it clearly says 2.2 miles away, and they weren't doing pies, only slices. After reading other reviews I'm glad I didn't follow through with the order.

Food arrived late and cold. I’m impressed some of the food was undercooked and some was burnt. That takes skill to cook so terribly. When I complained to grubhub and got a refund I was greeted to a voicemail threatening me with “I know where you live”. This place is a joke the food is garbage and the owner is incompetent to say the least. At least my pit bulls got some chow but they only picked at it. Shame.

Got takeout, Chicken Parm pizza. Great piece for the quality. The parm was clumped in spots instead of evenly spread, so lose a start for that. But the crust was perfect, cheese was great, sauce was delicious. Would get again, though maybe a different set of toppings. Still, hard to find a 14” that good at that price.
