State University of New York at Fredonia reviews
7This school is horrible. You really pay for what you get. Good luck trying to stomach the food
I would have to think that this isn't the worst college out there. But it is a college and it's got plenty of issues from the staff to the students. Colleges are a business.
Communication through staff is deplorable. A friend of mine was denied admission, but was later emailed by a professor saying she was admitted to the program she had applied to. A student should not be subjected to the erroneous record-keeping done by a university, especially one that they had applied to and had already received an answer from. The applications process is already stressful for many students, and added false hope on top of said process should not even be a variable in it.
Enjoyed my time at Fredonia, the classes are sized perfectly, the professors care, and the biology department is strong.
Everyone who works here truly loves their job, holds very high standards and is reachable. I'm so happy my son chose FRED and I'm confident he will have the best college experience.
I graduated from Fredonia and as an alumni remember many great times. There's a beautiful relationship between the town and college. However very saddened to see many areas of expansion and improvements, just made the older areas look aged. Hopefully they continue to renovate the older dorms, etc.
As a current Super Super Senior, this school has become my home! The class sizes are just right, and my professors invest time to get to know me and fellow students. I feel like I'm actually part of a community here, and I'm prepared for the future!
