StatMD Urgent Care reviews
14 YOU SHOULD TOTALLY COME HERE!
They are so caring and friendly. For example my family was worried to do the COVID test but they were so gentle and understanding plus the staff in the front are such nice people. They also make the experience so fun!
My daughter recently received her second COVID vaccine at StatMD Urgent Care in New Hyde Park. The facility is spotless and the staff is extremely courteous and professional. I was very impressed and will definitely come back here.
Everyone there is super friendly and helpful! Especially Zainab, she always goes the extra mile to help people out. I always send people here for any little thing!
I took my son to this location I was very pleased from the service "Sandeep" was very respectful and kind to take care of my son
Very quick and efficient. Staff was very polite and professional. Would recommend for others to come as well!
Told me had a common cold and to take advil for my chest pain when coughing. Went to ER next morning and ended up having bilateral pneumonia.
Not horrible but not great.the doctor did not spend too much time with me to assess my pain.however, he referred me elsewhere that did take care of my issue.
Love this clinic. It’s very clean with lovely staff. The doctor on duty is competent and cares about his patients.
The doctor spent only 30 seconds in the room and the staff lost my grandmother's lab reports. She has to redo her testing now.
If there was a 1/2 star rating I would pick that. I sent my husband with my 9 year old on Christmas morning to this location. My son had fever and white spots on his left tonsil. I SAW them myself and my son wanted to see them also so I had taken a picture of his throat. The md there supposedly examined my son and sent him home telling my husband he was perfectly healthy. As soon as my husband told me I called to speak to the md and I told him that my son had the spots on his tonsils and 102 fever in the morning. He told me that they did a rapid-strep and it came out negative and insisted he saw no spots. I told him the spots were definitely there and he had to give my son an antibiotic. He insisted nothing was wrong and refused to give anything. He called me back 10 min later telling me they were sending the swab to the lab for a follow up and they would contact me in 2 days if it was positive. I took my son to his regular pediatrician on Wednesday morning and sure enough, positive strep. He has has fever up to 102.5 since Christmas day and his whole week vacation is RUINED. Incompetant doctors like that should not be in practice. Oh and mind you, I have yet to receive a call from the lab stating he was positive from the initial swab sample that was SUPPOSEDLY sent to the lab. Being a pharmacist I know what I saw and I knew what had to be done. I will never go back there.
I am having conflicting feeling at the moment. When i was here 3 months ago i had a great team. Today I am sitting here with my sick wife and the PA is sitting there texting on a group chat using whatsapp.i was sitting across the room and can see it clear as day. Very disheartening to see this. And then we are told ok the test seems clear go ahead and take the antibiotics that were prescribed. And then she proceeds to text as she is talking and walking out the door. Come on people we can do better than that.
The place is nicely decorated and clean. It was busy when I went in, but I was still seen in like 15 minutes. The doctors and staff were kind. I definitely had a better experience than some of the other places I've been to. Probably coming back here next time I need to get something checked out.
Was told 1 hour wait, it was an hour and a half and another hour waiting in the exam room, for the doctor, to be told she cant read the xray we would get a call the following day after the technician read it.
Sign on the door stated it opened at 9am, I arrived at 9: 07am and the doors were locked! They 3 other sick patients waiting in there cars outside told me there was no dr there. A 9: 24am a nurse strolled in not acknowledging anyone and locked the door behind her. They would not let us in!
