Step Ahead Daycare, Brooklyn NY

My wife and I first enrolled our son at Step Ahead when he was 2 months old. He recently graduated from Pre-K, and I cannot praise them enough. The teachers are loving, and the curriculum is incredible. They are responsive and share crucial feedback to help us parents. Step Ahead has given our son a strong foundation and prepared him for Kindergarten. I highly recommend.

I usually don’t write any reviews this is my first time. I think for first time parents these reviews would be very helpful for them to decide which daycare they chose for their child.
My daughter was in Ms. Maria’s and Ms. Rola’s class. She loves them and looked forward to going to school every morning. Ms. Maria was a very sweet and patient, she would plan some activities just to help her kids if they needed help in specific areas. Ms. Rola was nice and caring, she takes good care of her kids. They are very detailed and fast at responding to messages about any questions and concerns you may have.
And Ms. Irina (the director of the daycare), a very passionate person and very professional. She will go out of her way to help parents and kids. My child needed speech and seit services that the city was dragging their feet on but Ms. Irina stepped in and helped us find two amazing providers.

One important thing about this daycare is every thing is consistent. Almost all of the staff have been working here for few years and they know almost all the kids from all classes. It’s a very friendly family environment.

If you’re a parent and want peace of mind dropping your young child to school, this is the right place.

So happy with how my kids came out it’s like they work wonders in there, he doesn’t ask for food or anything anymore, kids so quiet he don’t even talk idk how y’all do it

I love this daycare. Both my kids went. My youngest still there. The curriculum is great. The food is good. My kids thrive there. Never had any issues with the teachers. They treat the kids with respect and care. Definitely recommend this daycare.

This is a great daycare center. My daughter has been in Step Ahead for over two years now. At the beginning, it was very hard for her to acclimate to being away from me. They helped her transition well and get comfortable in the new environment. This last school year was amazing. She was in Ms. Maria’s and Ms. Roma’s classroom. She loved them so much as well as all the other teachers and staff. She came home from school happy and stress-free. Ms. Rola has been so sweet and understanding. She knows the kids individually and she knows each child’s needs. Now that my daughter finished preschool and leaving, she wanted to stay longer for the summer program. Thank you so much for taking good care of our children and for helping them learn and grow in such a warm, safe, and clean environment.

I just want to say how amazing the day care is! I have both my children and they love it! Also Irena wonderful person caring and sweet. My son has speech delay and needs occupational therapy and speech its been a roller coaster this past year because there was a shortage of therapist and its just been hard, but when I enrolled my children there Irena went above and beyond she has all the services there and started to help him im so grateful and blessed knowing my son is getting the best help from these wonderful angels! All the teachers and therapists are amazing there! My son teachers and daughter’s teachers are great caring wonderful! I get updates pictures just a wonderful and safe environment! I just love it and my children also! Thank you so much and I recommend anyone looking for care to go there

Our son has been here since he was a baby. Now that he's moving on to kindergarten we are sad to leave. Irina and all the teachers have been so loving and helpful. In addition they incorporate very special enrichment lessons like Spanish and Russian Language, music and dance. The shows they put on with the kids for Mother's Day and end of year/graduation are unforgettable and worthy of a Broadway show!

Step ahead has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. The teachers are nurturing and loving. They are attentive to the needs of the children and great at communicating with the parents. My daughter is happy to go every morning! Do not hesitate to send your child here.

Our child has been going here since infancy and we've had a wonderful experience all the way through 4K. All the teachers and staff are very caring and communicative, we're definitely grateful there in Bay Ridge.
