This is one of the MOST dedicated, caring, super top Doctors of his expertise & easy to talk to. He wants to help patients! Before him, my husband spoke of suicide.yes, that bad! Everyday was dark & gloomy. Not just the days but even worse the nights.he’d lay rivaling in pain on the floor, the bed.the couch.anywhere, because it made no difference! The pain was endless. No one else after Dr. Sennett & 8 trips to different ER’s.did keith or us, his family, have any hope.myself included.but i wasn’t giving up on the best person i know. So my brother, david & i tried to get him help.repeatedly.but because he went to DR. B. S.ortho PennState, i thought we were never going to get our lives back and this is the way keith has to live.which he refused. Then i got him, keith, an appt with Dr Mandel.well the information he gave Keith, my beautiful husband, the information he needed. Keith has an ugly form of MS.it took 10 years of our lives to find this out! Within months of dr.mandel.he was determined to help keith.today, we are doing well.he can’t work full time but volunteers when able at VA facility.
THANK YOU, DR MANDEL! You Changed Our Lives! We will always hold you near & dear.

Dr Mandel is NOT responding to calls.
Follow-up is not attentive.
Extremely frustrating!

Dr Mandel is a nice, friendly doctor. Although Lenox Hill Center is not patient oriented. I still have not received my results from MRI from almost 2 months ago and it is nearly impossible to get on the phone with someone.

Very nice doctor but you cannot see him! Literally you can't get an answer calling his office, they don't respond to voicemail (for an entire week!), even other Lennox Hill doctors can't get through to them. He should get new office staff and online scheduling or just retire.

Dr. Mandel, doesn't even deserve 1 star he was so bad, but I have to, in order to post my review!

Not only can you NEVER get through to the people actually in the office, you get an answering service, but when he calls you back it's from an Unknown number. I played phone tag with him for a week and requested that he leave the diagnosis on my voicemail because I'm at work all day (when his office is open for 3hours a day), but he called back said "this is Dr. Mandel calling" then hangs up.

He is the most incompetent, unorganized, inefficient doctor I've EVER been too.

My diagnosis was that 'nothing was wrong' but he told me I do have swollen Tonsils. However, I had my Tonsils removed 2years ago! So what was swollen? !? !

I highly recommend finding a doctor that cares about his patients and doesn't let 3 days go by before calling patients back. Not to mention let's them know he's going on vacation and not having to find out from the answering service!

Dr Mandela treated me years ago in Philadelphia and New Jersey
One of the smartest caring doctors I ever met
I am going through hell now and I plan on calling to get appt with him.
I don’t caree if I have to travel. Appointment scheduled and i pray Dr Mandell you can help me! I cant live anymore no knowing and in so much pain. None can figure this out. I have complete faith you can!

Impossible to make an appointment. I get answering service and no call-backs for 6 days in a row.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Mandel and he really relieved all of my fears around finding a new neurologist. He was very kind and thorough. He set me up with several specialists to perform diagnostics and RO causes of my illness. I’m really happy I found him!

Dr. Mandel is one of the finest doctors I've ever been to see. Coming to him with a benign essential tremor suddenly gone mad, he was caring, thoughtful, and responsive to my concerns and my fears. If you need a neurologist, make an appointment to see him. You won't be sorry.
