My child was excited to get invisible locs, but when it was time to take them out after less than a month, because they didn’t look good anyway. It was so difficult to take them off even after many shampoo and conditioner. I don’t know what they use on my daughter hair, it was like a glue and my daughter’s hair keep falling apart

Recently got large knotless braids done my GAYLE and the experience was unsatisfactory when it didn't have to be. Firstly, I let the braider know that I did not want any product in my hair. No is a complete sentence and as a customer my wishes should be respected. Nonetheless, she proceeded to ask me why. I told her I wasn't a fan of how my hair reacted to the product. She then handed me the loc/twist gel that the store uses and said that is what they used. THAT alone was rude bc I already said I didn't want product in my hair. However, I declined once again and she made me wait to consult the manager. She came back and asked if I wanted a more natural look I said yes. She came back again and said it wouldn't be neat without the gel, I said okay. She came back again and asked if I wanted it smaller, I declined. At the point in which I'm still paying full price and basically said okay to a "sloppy" job, what's the issue? Her attitude was disgusting and the only way for her not to take her frustration out on my scalp by braiding unnecessarily tight; I had to watch her. I suggest putting in the bio that clients MUST use braiding gel. Otherwise, respect our decision because I'm still a full price paying customer. If you can't braid without gel that's a problem. I've had my hair braided plenty of times without gel without neatness being compromised by other braiders in that shop. If a request is made that is out of your skillset, be honest, inform the customer or let someone else do it. I'm not saying the braids came out bad. I am highlighting not everyone wants to use gel and I shouldn't have to deal with a stink attitude because of it. Bad energy doing my hair, smiling taking my money. No Bueno. The lady at the desk saw and felt it too. Unacceptable! This is a summary of our interaction because she was carrying on bad bc she couldn't record the style bc SHE felt it wasn't worthy of posting; not MY problem.

A few things about this place that were not good:

1. Appointment was at 2pm with Yamaris. Arrived at 2pm, was told to wait a little. OVER 2 HOURS later, was finally seen and told “sorry”

2. Price on website when booking said $90 but charged $130 …?

Braids came out okay, there are a few little hairs sticking out but his hair was just under 3 inches so i can’t fully blame the stylist, but i felt she could’ve done better.

They charge a fee for not showing up within 15 minutes of your appointment, but they should at least offer a free service or discount when they have you wait a ridiculous amount of time.

Gayle did my hair and she was super cool and professional. Very easy going and funny. I highly recommend her. #TrustMe

This spot is a 10/10 overall for me. The environment is very welcoming & professional. I recently got my braids done here by Yamaris and she did an amazing job, I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Today was my first time at the shop, the braids were perfect, not too rough but I love the pricing it was 65 with an additional $25 for the beads. Didn’t take long, shop set up was nice, cool people. Most important the hairstylist Amirah, 3rd chair on the left I believe perfect. I love the work and will be returning.

A place that charges you to cancel but doesn’t honor their appointments. Showed up 10 minutes early and receptionist informed me the braider (Tammy) would be right out. She either no showed or started someone else’s hair at the time of my appointment. Still unclear as there were no updates given in the hour I waited. Would not recommend if you’re not local. Pictures looked elite but your time is not valued here.

Studio Bladez is perfect all Around. Tammy gets my hair done really good I get a lot of good compliments on how good my hair looks.she is very accommodating & will recommend anybody to get their hair braided at studio Bladez.

I love this place! They finesse my hair every time. Yamaris did an AMAZING job with my kamikaze twists. This was my first time getting them done and she went above and beyond from helping me get the proper hair color and extensions to slaying the style. A 10/10 recommendation

Amira squeezed me in at the last minute and still took her precious time to make sure my hair was 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality work

I rate this salon for me the very best. They have excellent customer service. The hairstylist are very talented and prove themselves all the time.

Got 7 stitch braids done by amirah and they came out better than I imagined. Would definitely recommend.
