Before working with Tavia, I didn't have a sense of my unique personal style or what sorts of styles were even possible for me or how to best pair them. I just knew I had a goal to look more mature but also leave room for personal exploration but honestly had no idea how to achieve it on my own.

Tavia took the time to go over various designs, pictures and references with me in order to discover what I liked/disliked. She was both professional and responsive: I knew what to expect throughout the entire process. I was provided a lookbook that highlighted the essential items for my redesign, and Tavia was easily reachable via Zoom and email at any time!

She planned everything out in advance. When the day came to actually pick out my clothing, I was pleasantly surprised at how Tavia and her team not only planned our day, schedule (including lunch, break, etc.) and shopping route, but she knew EXACTLY where each article of clothing was at each store. Shopping was a breeze!

I'm extremely happy to have found my personal style, and an image that aligns with my tastes. I will be working with Tavia and her team again to come up with my fall/winter look!

Last year during the pandemic, I realized my closet is boring as hell so I decided to work with Tavia in her Sharp Upgrade package. In our initial consultation, she said, “Are your clothes a reflection of who you are and what you’re up to? ” I never thought of my image in that way before.

Next, Tavia introduced me to her fitness & nutrition coach. I had no idea what I was doing and I was afraid to push my body in the gym because of a series of back injuries that left me in daily aches and pains. But after our first virtual assessment, I felt at ease and we got to work. I dropped 27 pounds in 3 months! My confidence started to grow and I was feeling so great, it was time for the photoshoot.

During our style consultation for the shoot, I was both excited and nervous. I loved that we worked with what I had first bought and added additional pieces to uplevel each outfit. The theme was BE BOLD so I told myself, “Be open. Let her do her thing and just step into it. ” I loved every outfit and every piece. We were super detailed with each piece in which I didn’t realize that was so important.

Tavia’s photographer is amazing. I felt at ease on the shoot and the teamwork was really exceptional. Everything flowed, it was fun and I loved the spontaneity that was created during the shoot. After sharing the photos, people are constantly messaging me about the photos and the outfits. I am so grateful for the team that I had around me to make this all happen. For me as a mediator, arbitrator and board of directors member, the pandemic has eliminated almost all in person activities such as courtroom appearances and board meetings, replacing them with virtual proceedings, mostly through Zoom. As the trend toward more virtual meetings continues, it is very important to me to have a wardrobe appropriate for Zoom activities, which is not the same wardrobe that would be appropriate for in person activities. Tavia advised me on how to assemble and coordinate an appropriate look for my virtual meetings. During the pandemic, I was living in my sweatshirts. I was ready to get back out there and needed help finding new brands and putting together new outfits. I was looking for a wardrobe makeover as I was still wearing clothing that reflected my younger self. Approaching 39, I realized that it was time to upgrade my wardrobe, dress my age and create a personal style that reflects my current goals. I chose to work with Tavia as she specializes in men’s and has experience designing for Nautica, Macy's and Calvin Klein, menswear brands that I enjoy wearing.

We started with my current wardrobe, discarding outdated items that no longer reflect my new style and creating a list of missing items to fill in the gaps. Tavia then put together a Shop Plan for the missing items. Being that I was on a budget, she helped pick out several quality items by leveraging the sales with her store connections. Shopping was a lot of fun! To top it off, she created a Lookbook with over 30 curated looks for specific dressing occasions. She also introduced me to her tailor to help with several alterations.

My husband had a lot of clothes but always ended up wearing the same exact 2 or 3 outfits that he knew worked together.
