Suburban Propane, Bridgehampton NY

Do not buy BbQ gas here. They sold me a dangerous leaking tank. When I returned to ask for a replacement or refund. They simply said it wasn’t their tank and to go somewhere else.

As a local, first time customer, I am never returning and advise anyone else to stay away!

I am so impressed with the customer service representatives who handle the phones at Suburban Propane in Bridgehampton. I've always found them to be attentive to issues and great at followup. Most recently I had an issue due to a disconnect between my pool heater installer and the technician from Suburban Propane who did the hook up. Julia Martinez in the SP office was very persistent in helping to get it resolved and ensuring that I was not billed extra for rework that was necessary. So grateful for all the help!

Unprofessional. Absolutely awful.
I spotted a gas leak on their property from a busted pipe and didn’t get any thanks or gratitude. Even worse, they tried to poach one of my employees!

Just wanted my BBQ 20lb tank filled. Were the only people at the Butter La.location. The man actually doing the work was great. The office staff took 23 mins to make up the bill. They required personal driver's license and the personal cell phone number. To fill a BBQ tank? They said with law requirements. I've been to 5 locations in several weeks in this same area no one required my driver's license or cell phone. Absurd. Then when refused cell number all of a sudden was ok.

It was nice to be kept posted on arrival time in case something was planed. The technician was very pleasant and helpful.

I have dealt with both Daisy and William I have found them both professional and reasonable to deal with. Although they are a satellite office of a much larger company their customer service is excellent and customer retention seems to be a priority

Heather was a wonderful representative for Suburban Propane. She quickly resolved my primary issue, and also helped research another recurring issue with her colleagues, going above and beyond. Truly excellent customer service overall.

$120 to pick up your tank, $1/gallon “restocking fee” to take the gas back you already paid for…. Complete racket

Sent me a promotional email for one rate, I called, they came and filled the tank and then charged me at a higher rate. I called and they fixed it but it seemed like a sneaky move.

Heather from Suburban was very helpful answering all the questions I had about the service, cost and delivery of propane. Setting up an account was really easy.
