Subway, New York NY

Last couple of times I've gone, the service has been a bit rude. Otherwise it's a typical Subway shop.

DIRTY! And ingredients are not fresh. It looks like they never clean the lettuce container just keep adding to it and the lettuce itself looks old. The cookies look like they’ve been there for days. And there are flies flying around all over the ingredients. Disgusting

Favorite food. Big chunk. I think they were quite generous with the fill. You can ask to cut it by two in wraps. Eat one, and save one for later. You can have vegeterian if you hardly find halal food. But in NYC I think it is easier to find halal food.

Smaller and empty, they no longer sell sandwiches, they sell only bread, and I don't like to buy there anymore. 5 spinach leaves in a foot long, it's a hoax

1. The guy swapped ingredients between our sandwiches
2. One sandwich was cut too much, so it was impossible to eat
3. The bathroom doesn't work

I didn’t like this place because the guy making the sandwiches gets confused so easily and they are very rude it’s like they don’t even care about what there customers like they just care about the money this place is rude mean and disrespectful I don’t recommend

I ordered a kids sized sandwich, which I’ve ordered before at other Subway locations when I just want a snack. They skipped my sandwich in the toasting line, which would have put me a few places back in line, so I opted to skip the toasting to save time. When I got to the cash register, they told me I could not purchase just the sandwich and had to pay for the full meal, which was over $7. They didn’t even offer the other parts of the kids meal (applesauce and milk) until I asked. Had they told me from the start that they only do kids meals and not just kids sandwiches, I would have just ordered a regular 6in sandwich. On top of all that, all the staff were slow and rude and unpleasant to deal with. Do not go to this subway- Green apple deli is around the corner and you can get a lot more bang for your buck with much friendlier staff there.

We ordered food, I asked to use the restroom and the man laughed as he said I need to go 2 streets over to McDonald's and use theirs. So rude.

Just wanted a hot drink as we weren't hungry and it was pretty chilly.
The guy asked us 'just drink? ' in abit of a tone.
The guy gave us our drinks and then as my mum put the money out on the table she saw there was a tax charge. Which is fine but as we come from the UK our tax is already on the food and drinks so my mum was like 'oh didn't know you put a tax charge after food/drink charge' and the guy got kinda rude with my mum about it.
Like you can clearly tell we are not from here. Give us a break.
As we where leaving i saw him pick up the tip box and kinda wave it a little.
We know about tipping waiters and waitresses and taxi drivers if we think they gave us a good service and I really don't think this guy did.
So yeah 2 stars due too bad serive.

Reasonably quick service. Freshness of vegetables seem somewhat questionable to me. All in all it's satisfying for the price point.
