Subway, New York NY

Very rude customer service. I have been going there for 2 months almost everyday asking them if they could get spicy mustard each time because that’s the only sauce that I really like. They claim subways doesn’t carry it that’s why they can’t get it but if a customer comes almost every day the least you can do is get a bottle of spicy mustard. I go to two other locations in Brooklyn run by nice Asian people and they carry spicy mustard so clearly they can carry but choose not too.

Went in on Thursday evening after a theatre show on our way back to our hotel at 10.30pm, the guy serving had an earpiece in and was talking to someone on the phone the whole time. We had to remind him about our choices several times, we weren't sure if he was talking to us or the person on his call. We also noticed he didn't change his gloves after picking up the meat to prepare our friends vegetarian option. When we paid I actually said to him "you shouldn't be talking on your phone whilst serving customers", he just muttered something. Appalling customer service, a terrible ambassador for the Subway organisation. 0 stars from us.

Open times are incorrect. I showed up at 23.40, it said "open" outside and the open hours listed every day say 12am. The guy cleaning up inside put his arms out in a cross and the doors were locked. No explanation.

Easy solution, If you don't want to work until 12am then close at 11.30 instead. Looks like others have had the same issue

Want to give them no stars! Came here for steak bacon and he told me he couldn’t warm it up anymore when it was still raw looking! Then he doesn’t even understand what I’m telling him then puts the raw bacon on my sandwich…. I came here on break I literally wasted of time then he tells me they don’t warm it up more than that. I’ve been going to subways for years. Worst experience ever and this location just opens up smh. I would of been regular customers going forward.

Actively berates you and is very rude to people, and defensive. Go to any of the other subways in the neighborhood.

The woman behind the counter was extremely rude and fatphobic. I asked for a 6 inch sub, and she looks me up and down and says that's not enough food for me. Then she asks me how many times I eat a day and how much I weigh. Will never come back to this location.

Great place to eat or take out. Foot long or 6 " subs, pockets and other choices. Tons of sandwich extras to add. Fast service. Friendly staff.

Subway is one of my favorite spot to have lunch, but what I saw today with there standard for food, I won't eat back a Subway. The same glove they use to make your sandwich, same glove touch all contact surfaces. Same glove they use to pick up the spill off the floor and ready to make another sandwich. It was very disappointing knowing it wasn't that busy, and standard has drop. Good Luck and Good Bye

I'd rate 5 stars exactly, only because the store is way to small to be in the busy streets of Manhattan. I usually stop by after 3 when I do good thing it's never really crowded.usually around 2-3 people.

The employer just clean the counter in front of me with my credit card; a little bit strange and unexpected. It was 2y ago and we still laugh about it.

Worse place I went too. I ordered $9 sandwich with soda. I need double soda Soda cup was so thin. But I ask if I can double. They refused. It's ok they can there is men a d lady didn't make my sandwich good a d talk about me some bad things by their languages bhangalli.

It's clear the staffs employers do not read these reviews because if they did they would be fired. The sign outside says $2.99 but was charged double. The staff were rude and uninterested in the order. They asked what salad we wanted to which we said everything, they gave just onion. They got our bread wrong too. Absolute joke, hope every one of them gets fired. Wish I could leave a minus 5 score.
